1 star back to 5 TinoSec updated the app - everything is working perfectly again. Make sure you go to App Store or Google Play and download it, the old version did not have a message, I went to look for it as customer service said it should be out soon last week. Very clear images and very easy to connect. 5 stars to 1 9/17 app still not working correctly. They are sending alerts but will not go into live stream mode. See photos. Also, to test, I deleted and tried to reinstall a camera, it goes through the procedure but at the end it resets and will not reconnect. Frustrated. 9/15/2026 app quit working again, “Connection failed, please check the network and device, or restart the app(-60)” Cameras are online and still sending alerts and photos when a movement or sound alert occurs. I have removed and reinstalled the app, apparently it needs an update. 9/14/2026 Customer service is knowledgeable and helpful. The cameras and app have worked great for the past year and all of a sudden the live stream isn’t available (am receiving alerts and images from alerts so I know the cameras are online and working - but can not view live stream), I reported this via chat, customer service said they understood the issue and within two days the system is running normally again. (Out again 9/15) I own five of these cameras, three are at residence, two travel for monitoring pets. Only issue - a non-issue really - just time consuming, you have to remove and re-add a camera when changing WiFi connections, e.g., connecting at different campsites or hotels. ... show more

These wifi security cameras are fabulous and very easy to set up. The picture is clear and they have a motion, sound detection as well as human detection levels. Once I had trouble staying signed into app, and the service tech Skye was extremely helpful, patient and very thorough with helping me troubleshoot and fixing the issue. I purchased these cameras in February 2025, and I’ve been very happy with them. Just last week, I ran into an issue signing into the app. I kept receiving the error message, “Network is unavailable. Please check the network.” I reached out to customer service via email and spoke with Skye, who was incredibly helpful and kept in touch while their team worked on resolving the issue. Before they were able to get back to me, I figured out that the latest update had removed the location and nearby devices permissions from the app settings. I adjusted the permissions, cleared the app’s cache and data, then reopened the app, and it started working again. It also seems they released another update the following day that should have resolved the error. I really appreciate their customer service and how they stayed in contact throughout the process. I bought this camera to set up in my basement so I could try to identify where a rodent was coming in from. The camera was easy to set up and works very well - video quality is decent, the app is relatively intuitive, and with an SD card there's plenty of storage. For the price, it was surprisingly solid. That said, the nighttime motion detection is somehow both too sensitive and not sensitive enough. I get alerts for irrelevant stuff - lighting shifts, dust floating by the camera, a nearby centipede, or seemingly nothing at all. But the other night the rodent literally ate all the bait and dragged the trap several feet across the floor without triggering any alert and no video recording. I'm going to keep trying, but so far the one purpose I had in mind for it seems to be the one thing it can't do reliably. ... show more

It gives you many options for saving what you have recorded. I really need this for security because I live alone. And I am living with a disability called Dysautonomia..I pass out 2 to 3 times a week and a recorded 11 times in one day. It's scary.. But like I said, I'm a very independent person and I'm a retired nurse of 25 years Experience. My daughter is in nursing school herself.And she also has the app on Her phone and can watch me. And if I pass out she can call 911. I feel safe with this. And I get to keep my independence. I have a nurse and a home health aid.Come to my house and I often fall asleep because of my disability.And I want to make sure that they're not doing something they're not supposed to. So this works for perfect security. They know it's there, so they don't even try it. Lol. And my daughter will see if they're mistreating me. I bought the 2-pack in June 2026. Setup was easy, the Tinosec app connected without issues, and the video quality is decent. However, the cameras randomly announce, "Connected to Wi-Fi," at full volume, even in the middle of the night. It startled me so many times that I ended up unplugging both cameras. I can hear the announcement from the bedroom all the way to the living room. I've owned three other indoor security cameras for over 10 years, and none have ever made loud voice announcements like this. Pros: Easy setup and decent video quality. Cons: Delayed live view and extremely loud voice notifications. I'm outside the return window, so unless there's a way to disable the voice announcements, I can't confidently recommend these cameras. ... show more
