I was initially skeptical to buy a workout bench but since my wife was going to use as well, we decided to get into the purchase process. I have not heard of the brand before and was not that familiar with this type of equipment but decided to purchase this one based on the value proposition (cost vs features). And it worked well for us ! I assembled it in about 20 minutes including the time to watch the youtube video and then following the steps in the manual. All pieces came identified with numbers on stickers and I found it very helpful to ease the assembly process. The structure is very sturdy and no doubt it can manage a very heavy person. I am 180lbs and the bench does not show any sign of stress. We have been using it for several days and are surprised with all the different exercises we can do after adjusting the seat or back which are very easy to adjust; once securely adjusted we feel safe when using the bench. We can do our routines seated up or laying down, again, just by adjusting couple of levers. As a bonus, we received a pair of gloves and 2 sets of resistance bands of different strengths. The gloves work very well and provide a good grip when using accessories , but the bands needed a workaround since the velcro is not long and strong enough to securely fasten around the bases so when we applied force pulling the bands they snapped and almost hit us. We put the velcro aside and used the clip of the bands to build a loop around the base and that is how we are using the bands. One thing I would have loved is for this bench to be foldable as the name implies. It has wheels so we can move it around our room and put it away to the side, but would have been great for the bench to collapse so it could be folded and stored in a closet or using less space. In any event, we are enjoying our product and using the bench to help build the discipline we need to get healthier. ... show more

    • Best Incline/Decline Weight Bench under $400.00 - hands down
I've been working out for greater than 40 years: since I was 13 years old. I played both baseball and football. I was a linebacker my freshman year in college. I took Hapkido for six years. After college, I was in management for a major fitness club. We were trained in all aspects, including equipment. So, fitness is part of my life and I know the difference between good and bad equipment. I had ordered, and returned, 2 different brands of benches. Both were rated well. I don't know why so, but I found them to be flawed and dangerous. Determined, I searched Amazon for weight benches $450.00 and below. Then, I came upon this bench, and immediately ordered it. Wow, $149.00! "Something must not have been right," I thought. Well, it arrived this morning. Packaged well, written instructions on how to put it together, and even two real, steel wrenches, instead of the cheap aluminum ones found in most equipment that one has to assemble. THIS BENCH IS A BRUTE! It comes with an URL to a website for step-by-step video instructions for assembly. I don't know why as the manual is very clear. All one has to do is lay everything out on the floor, separate and organize all the bolts, washers, and nuts and start putting it together. I did it by myself, and I really dislike putting stuff together. I took my time and finished it under an hour. The result? This incline/decline weight bench is a f*ing steal! Solid, super well-constructed, comfortable, efficient and safe. I am sure it can really hold the claim of 1,000 pounds, if not more. It is professional quality. Yeah, you can find one for $500.00 and up that has better backrest and seat, but that is about it. The construction is first rate. This bench will last for years and years.     • Sturdy, easy to put together, But.....
As other reviews have said, this is a sturdy bench. I like that the feet are wider than most as I am sitting on carpet and didnt want it to be wobbly with just a single round bar for a foot. Easy to put together, took me about 45 min by myself would have been much quicker with a second person to help hold some of the heavier pieces while tightening but not bad at all. My only complaint is that the back rest is not tight, it wobbles from side to side and my screws are as tight as possible. I even loosened them and started over, to no avail. It is almost as if the bolt itself is too small for the hole, my screws are not moving but the inside bolt is. This doesnt really affect the bench when laying on the back rest, but when I use it for stability (holding the top from the back) for some exercises, this is super annoying since I am using it for stability and well.... its not stable. That would be my only complaint so far and maybe I can figure out a fix, but its a bit annoying since everything else about this bench seems to be great. ... show more

    • Just got this bench, very positive so far
The bench was delivered a day early and I unboxed it to inventory parts. The manual with assembly instructions is pretty thorough, I immediately started checking off parts against the list. I initially thought some parts were missing, but when I compared the exploded BOM to the parts list and actual inventory, everything was included, even a few spare washers. The YouTube installation video was very helpful, and I got the thing built in just over an hour. Fit and finish: the finish on the metal parts is excellent, as is the vinyl fabric on the seat and back. The bench is pretty heavy, the hardware fit well, and overall it feels very sturdy. For a home gym, I think this bench would stack up well against benches costing significantly more. Adjustability: the back and seat both adjust, with the back allowing for decline position. Eight angles for the back, four angles for the seat. I'm going to try to update this review in six months; we'll find out how well it holds up. ... show more

    • Good For Teenagers
The product is good for teenagers. The quality is reasonable as per price. The products is sturdy , but they could have provided better resistance bands. The bands are flimsy , and does not match the product images as provided on the amazon website. So do not buy the product with the intent of using the Fitness bands.
