Love these hive stands! I have two of them, and they’ve held up really well in the Texas weather. Assembly takes about 30 minutes and isn’t really difficult, less time with two people. We get a lot of rain in spring and winter, so I place these on pavers to keep the feet from sinking into the ground. I haven’t had that happen, but figured a wider base is better. I also use ratchet straps and ground stakes to secure them in the ground. We get tornadoes all spring, summer, and fall, with horrible straight line winds, and some really windy winter days, so the straps keep them secure. I know that might be extra, but it works. These hive stands work really well at holding the heavy deep boxes - I’ve got two full deeps and one super on, and they’re still going strong. These are adjustable to fit 10 or 8 frame hives, which is nice because I have both, so they’re adjustable to fit whichever hive needs it. Simplifies the whole process! Overall, great product for beek’s that don’t want cinder block and 4x4 hive stands.

Well made easy to assemble, I already have one a year old under my first bee hive it’s still in great condition no rust, or break down.

I bought two hive stands at the same time - this one and another one. This one is the better of the two, and will be my choice for future stands. It is much more sturdy than the other stand, and feels like it would easily hold my heavier hive (one full 10-frame deep, plus two 9-frame honey supers well on their way to full). I'm sure it would be able to handle even more than that. I really like the adjustability that it provides. If I decide to go to 8-frame setups, it will work for that, too. Anyone who is concerned about the height does need to be mindful that it starts at 15", and goes up from there. I'm short, so if I were doing double deeps, and had a particularly productive year I would be harvesting honey regularly rather than putting on a third honey super. But that is manageable for me. I don't see it as an issue. Pointing it out in case that is an issue with the way someone else runs their hives. I just really like this stand.

** Purchase Update - April 8,2025 Since my last purchase and review, the seller reached out. They have offered a full refund for my purchase of the hive stands. I will gladly order more hive stands as, hopefully, my bee apiary expands with swams and splits. This was my 4th purchase of these stands since 2024. Others were fine. Opened and discarded the box in the trash. Assembled strands as normal and discovered, only after 99% complete that they would not slide together (both stands) as the sliding tubes were 1/2" to 3/4" out of alignment. The only way to join was to bend the slide tubes to mate. They will never slide again without a hammer ! I CAN NO LONGER Recommend that you purchase.

What this would be great for, and how I personally us it is for temporary support of hive equipment during inspections so you do not have to put the gear and bees on the ground. This is not at all great for continuous outdoor use, even though it's completely painted - Rusts at weldment Rusts at bolt penetrations (so, likely drilled after painting) Rusty water drains through weep holes after rain, so interior surfaces will continue to rust and corrode. It is adjustable, but only really suited for flat surfaces, not great for uneven grade. Must be placed on firm substrate like pavement, gravel, hard packed clay etc. RECOMMEND spraying the entire stand with protection such as WD-40 or other weather protectant. Bolts hold well Included washers must be sprayed to prevent corrosion. Nuts are lock-style so they will hold well after setup. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this as a primary hive stand for beekeepers. BUT, serves as a temporary support as mentioned above. Ok at best.
