The media could not be loaded. The set is complete with all the listed items. The box is well-made, assembled, and wax-dipped. The frames are not assembled but come with nails, and the foundations seem well-waxed. I would add glue when assembling the frames to make them stronger. The only thing not in this box is a veil (and the bees, of course,) and with that should be able to start a hive. Very satisfied with this product.

I love these heavily waxed boxes because they have a very natural look in the apiary and the bees take to the waxed boxes quickly (I usually spray a little sugar water mixture inside and on the frames when introducing bees to a new box). The dovetailed pieces went together easily to make the deep box. Be sure to have a rubber mallet handy to encourage the pieces to slide into place. I wouldn't use a regular hammer because it might damage some of the dovetails. The predrilled screw holes and included screws were easy and probably not even needed as snug as this box assembles. Frame assembly was simple with a little wood glue and the included one inch nails. The foundation is lightly waxed, but I'll put another layer of beeswax just to further encourage the girls to draw out the comb quickly. Everything you need to start beekeeping is included from the suit to the smoker fuel and all of it is pretty good quality. If you want to start keeping bees, this kit is a great beginning. Good equipment!

This beehive starter kit looks like the pictures and contains everything pictured. The quality seems good to me although I’m a new beekeeper with almost no experience. I have yet to order bees so I can’t comment on their thoughts of the hive but I am happy with it so far.

The wood is cedar and fives it a really nice stylish look for your landscape. Included is all the basic tools you will need to maintain this beehive. Great gift idea and I love the idea of enhancing the flower and vegetable gardens around my land.

This is great for a beginner beekeeper. The priceline is on target for a beginnerxsetup and the quality is up a notch so it's a great deal. It's very easy to setup and the only assembly required is the frames so it saves time. All the tools needed are packed neatly inside and it's all ready to go!
