Description
The contemporary Trinity Arc Lamp presents warm, rustic alternative to the typical arc lamp. A trio of beige burlap shades are suspended from arms with an antique bronze finish and controlled with a four-way rotary switch on the main pole. Three 100W incandescent bulbs or equivalent CFL's provide enough light to brighten an entire room. This lamp has a clear cord and is smart outlet compatible. Bulbs are not included. All Adesso lighting products are either UL listed or ETL listed, meaning it has been tested and approved to meet the government-regulated safety standards for the USA. I love this lamp. It is actually better than pictured. The shades are burlap as stated in the description. However, they are not as brown as they are in the picture. They are more like a cream color, which I think is better. I was concerned because come reviews said it was a bit hard to put together, directions were not so good & takes about 30 mins or more to put together. I found it very easy! Took me about 15 mins. max. I am thrilled with the light that it gives off and the versatility of lamp. It is NOT top heavy as I read in a few reviews. Very solid and sturdy. The color of the lamp itself is darker than I expected. It is more towards black than bronze, but worked great with my decor. I absolutely am thrilled with this purchase! A friend bought one similar to this (Different Brand, little shorter & bit cheaper) I almost ordered that one, but I am soooo glad I got this brand! Attaching a few pictures. Not sure why the one pic is loading sideways, but it will give you and idea. You won't be disappointed.

You Light Up My Life!

I received the lamp in a huge box that was wrapped very well, triple layer with really annoying styrofoam that just crumbled when you took the pieces out. The base of the lamp is solid marble (I think) it's chipped and a larger chunk was missing but good thing was that this was going to be hidden. The lamp base and center section were ridiculous to put together. The threading was not very good but after wiggling it back and forth and much swearing it finally came together. Trust me, I was determined because there was no way I could get this back in that mayhem of boxes. All that being said, I LOVE this lamp! It is absolutely perfect. My sofa sits low (2.5 inches from the ground) and this lamp base fits right underneath and in the corner. I was able to move the three arms to where I wanted them. It's great that I can turn one one, two or three lights at a time. I keep them all on and it lights up my room beautifully. I do recommend getting the light bulbs with the mirrored silver bottoms to reflect the light up and out. This is because I placed in the regular bulbs and it was like looking into the sun. But on the upside I think I may have gotten a nice tan. Overall, if you are looking for a nice statement piece that looks much more expensive than what this costs and need a good lighting source....you won't be disappointing in this lamp.

I have mixed feelings about this lamp. Wasn't sure whether to give it 3 or 4 stars, it's more like 3 and a half. After reading the reviews, I was expecting this thing to be a pain to assemble...it really wasn't. It wasn't exactly "a breeze" to assemble and it did have it's frustrating points, but overall, not horrible. The worst part was trying to get the cords down inside the pole as you assembled it. Would be so much easier if the bottom 3 parts of the pole were just one piece. They could use less cord if they didn't have to accommodate the way the 3 parts are laid out in the box and it would save the customer from having to jam all that excess cord inside the pole during assembly. When I first saw the tiny, tiny little screws that secure the arc arms, I thought for sure they were going to be a pain, but they really were no problem at all. They stay seated on the included Allen wrench surprisingly well and tighten up easily. Once it's all together, it really is quite sturdy and the heavy base keeps it from tipping over. As far as the look of this lamp...I'm underwhelmed. It's a plain brown pole with some not so attractive burlap type shades. But it does look better when lit. On the plus side, it fit in the very limited space that I had for it, with the majority of the base sliding right underneath my chaise and the positioning and brightness of the light it provides is EXACTLY what I wanted for my reading corner. Not the too bright light of my ceiling fixture and not the too dim, never where I want it light of a table lamp. I used 40 watt equivalent LED bulbs. So overall....it gets a C+ for assembly and attractiveness but an A+ for functionality.

Very expensive looking for the price!

I was initially concerned because I had read that other reviewers have had so much trouble with the assembly of this lamp. We had no issues at all with the assembly or the instructions... The lamp is super sturdy, heavy based and very tall to overhang our new sectional perfectly. I was concerned about the height because I thought one of the shades may get banged by one of the children (all 12 and older) but there have been no problems. Also, the base was thin enough to slide partially under the back of the sectional. This lamp sheds lots of light (I purchased the daylight energy saver bulbs). In the pictured configuration of the lamps: one click of the switch lights one light, the next lights two lights next to each other and the third click lights all three lights. The shades are a burlap type cloth covering and, in my opinion, much nicer than just a plain white or tan linen. All parts were well packaged and undamaged. I had looked elsewhere (online and in stores) and could not find anything of this style and quality for this low of a price- all and all a quality product!

great lamp, easy to set up, can do it yourself.

I got it yesterday and set it up, so this is the second night I've used it. It's very nice. It's a good looking lamp and gives plenty of light. I have 3 75 watt equivalent cfl's in it at 2100K and it's good stuff. I was easily able to set it up myself despite what everyone else here is claiming. The first thing you need to do is remove the screw in the hole of the base. Then you remove the washer and nut from the main pole - the lowest part. You put the screw of the lamp post through the hole of the base and use the washer and nut to tighten it. When installing the next part of the pole. you need to sort of wind the cable around the inside of the pole so that there's enough room for the second section to fit inside the first part. In terms of opening the box, I opened the back of the box first which allowed me to easily remove the base. Then, I taped the box up again with packing tape that I have, flipped the box over, and took out the shades and the poles. I didn't get pieces of styrofoam everywhere and in fact there was little mess or none at all. The lamp could be a little taller but it's very nice over a chair or in a corner.

I am impressed with this lamp. Base is very heavy, seems to be well made, not cheap. Easy to put together, looks like I imagined it would. Very happy with it. I've got it plugged into an Alexa socket so I just tell Alexa to turn the lamp on and "Wala"...my lamp comes on, no leaning over the couch, etc.

We've had this lamp for 3 months. Like other reviewers, we purchased this lamp to fit in the corner of a room behind a large sectional. It looks great there! The base is very sturdy, we actually took the foot off of the sectional piece in the corner and rested the sectional right on the lamp in order to keep everything as flush to the wall as possible. I find that it is plenty of clearance between your head and the base of lamp shades when sitting directly under the lamp, and I love the way that the 3 shades at slightly varying heights fills in the space. We were looking at having can lights installed into our living room, but thought we'd try this light instead -- with all 3 lights on, our entire living is bright so the pricey quote we had from an electrician has been tossed. One problem that we've had is that the plastic knob for the switch pops off easily, right now in fact it's lost under the couch. We can still turn the light on and off easily, and will eventually take the sectional apart to find it and then I will likely figure out a way to adhere it better. I set the lamp up on my own and wish that I had waited for my husband. It would have taken a lot less time, and frustration, with 2 people. Also, it made a huge mess of styrofoam and cardboard and tape, I would recommend putting it together somewhere that is easy to sweep up.
