Description

The contemporary Trinity Arc Lamp presents warm, rustic alternative to the typical arc lamp. A trio of beige burlap shades are suspended from arms with an antique bronze finish and controlled with a four-way rotary switch on the main pole. Three 100W incandescent bulbs or equivalent CFL's provide enough light to brighten an entire room. This lamp has a clear cord and is smart outlet compatible. Bulbs are not included. All Adesso lighting products are either UL listed or ETL listed, meaning it has been tested and approved to meet the government-regulated safety standards for the USA. I received the lamp in a huge box that was wrapped very well, triple layer with really annoying styrofoam that just crumbled when you took the pieces out. The base of the lamp is solid marble (I think) it's chipped and a larger chunk was missing but good thing was that this was going to be hidden. The lamp base and center section were ridiculous to put together. The threading was not very good but after wiggling it back and forth and much swearing it finally came together. Trust me, I was determined because there was no way I could get this back in that mayhem of boxes. All that being said, I LOVE this lamp! It is absolutely perfect. My sofa sits low (2.5 inches from the ground) and this lamp base fits right underneath and in the corner. I was able to move the three arms to where I wanted them. It's great that I can turn one one, two or three lights at a time. I keep them all on and it lights up my room beautifully. I do recommend getting the light bulbs with the mirrored silver bottoms to reflect the light up and out. This is because I placed in the regular bulbs and it was like looking into the sun. But on the upside I think I may have gotten a nice tan. Overall, if you are looking for a nice statement piece that looks much more expensive than what this costs and need a good lighting source....you won't be disappointing in this lamp. ... show more

The instructions are not the greatest and the place where it says to watch a video to explain how to put together is non existent. Or I just didn’t Have the patience to locate it. The lamp arrive one day late and adjustability of the lamp was why it got 1 star off. But otherwise it was a great product. It arrived without a scratch. The manufactuer used Styrofoam that crumbled apart and left a mess all over my livingroom and couch. This lamp should be unboxed and installed outside where clean up would be much easier. The lamp was sturdy and parts screwd into each other straight and solid. The base is very heavy and will help stabalize the lamp. The 4 way switch was a surprise I was expecting a certain order of lights on and off but got something else. I will explain later. The lamp shat fabric reminds me of a softer painting canvas, which looks durable. I was exspecting each arm for each lamp to be fully adjustible in one single piece, well their is two pieces to each lamp arm. A lower piece and an upper piece. The lower piece is fixed and cannot be moved, while upper piece it turnable but held in position with a very very small set/hold screw. The lamp worked flawlessly so far and looks very nice. Her is how the 4way swich words: P = Position L = Lamp P1: All OFF --> P2: L1 On , L2 OFF, L3 OFF --> P3: L1 OFF, L2 ON, L3 ON --> P4: ALL ON --> Back to P1. I was expecting a more simple switch light sequence like this: P1: ALL OFF --> P2: L1 ON, L2 OFF, L3 OFF --> P3: L1 ON, L2 ON, L3 OFF --> P4: ALL ON --> Back to P1 I was planning to put a 40w LED in L1, 60w LED in L2 and 100w LED in L3. That way I can gradually increase brightness per turn of the switch but apparently the sequence was setup differently so i juat when with 40w in L1 and 75w in both L2 and L3. ... show more

I love this lamp. It is actually better than pictured. The shades are burlap as stated in the description. However, they are not as brown as they are in the picture. They are more like a cream color, which I think is better. I was concerned because come reviews said it was a bit hard to put together, directions were not so good & takes about 30 mins or more to put together. I found it very easy! Took me about 15 mins. max. I am thrilled with the light that it gives off and the versatility of lamp. It is NOT top heavy as I read in a few reviews. Very solid and sturdy. The color of the lamp itself is darker than I expected. It is more towards black than bronze, but worked great with my decor. I absolutely am thrilled with this purchase! A friend bought one similar to this (Different Brand, little shorter & bit cheaper) I almost ordered that one, but I am soooo glad I got this brand! Attaching a few pictures. This is exactly the lamp my wife and I were looking for. We had a table lamp which sat on a small "end" table between our two recliners, and when we were sitting in them, we couldn't see each other because of the lamp. So, we checked out a bunch of these lamps which would hang over the chairs but not be in the way, and this one works great. Assembly was fairly straight forward. There are some tiny screws, and all but one were not really an issue. However, I am pretty certain the screws included (which are all the same size) are not meant to fit the knob, and in fact, I don't think this is the right knob. First, the set screw simply doesn't fit the knob. Second, the knob shouldn't need a set screw; a set screw on a plastic shaft generally isn't a good idea. But, this was a knurled split shaft, and as such, the knob should be one that slides on tightly and stays on with friction. I happened to have an assortment of those kinds of knobs from some electronic projects I've done, and found a small black one that fits fine and stays on with friction and without needing a set screw. Oh, and this "antique bronze" is black. I would have ordered black given a choice, so I don't mind. ... show more
