Tech stats in case anyone was curious... It draws 44.5 watts at it's lowest possible setting, 46.5 watts in the middle of the MEDIUM setting, 54.5 watts in the middle of it's HIGH setting, and 60.5 watts at MAXIMUM. Supposedly this model is rated at 350CFM...yet when I tested it with my digital Anemometer, that highest number I saw was 260CFM, with no ducting attached, about 6" from the outlet side of the fan. Once you attach a filter and ducting, even with minor bends, I'm sure that number will be reduced even further...BUT...read below..and you'll see how "real world" numbers, not manufacturers "blown out of proportion" numbers defer. Set on MAX 260CFM, MEDIUM 210CFM, and LOWEST setting was 180CFM Now on to the quality stats... The ducting that it comes with as of 12/2020 is the cheapest junk you can buy at Lowes, the fan however far exceeded my expectations. I have a 5x5x 6.5 grow tent, on it's lowest setting(180CFM), using it as SUPPLY AIR, with PVC ducting and (3) short 90° bends...it moves SOOO MUCH air that it is a windy inside the tent and inflates my tent like a balloon and I have to open up the other ports or the door to release the air...I don't think I'll ever need to use any of the other settings, the lowest(180CFM) is PLENTY!

I didn't see any obvious box damage but the fan arrived broken. I didn't notice anything wrong until I plugged it in. There was no movement--just a buzz from a stressed out motor. After immediately unplugging, tried to give the fan blades a flick/spin but they were scrapping on the sides. Reviewed the instructions again to make sure there weren't any shipping blocks. However, I quickly realized that the fan blades and the motor were physically moving separately from the housing as I lifted and moved the whole assembly around looking for anything that would stop it from spinning. Two screws plus a nut that connects the fan blades to the motor allow you to take the whole thing apart. The motor seemed pretty heavy but wasn't attached to the mount because all three supports were broken. It was only when I started packing it back up that I noticed the plastic bag that contained the entire fan had three large metal screws and lots of pieces of black plastic. (Wished I saw that before I plugged it in...) I believe this is at least partially a design issue because the screws seemed pretty oversized and the motor was pretty heavy given they screwed into some small plastic mounts. I wasn't impressed with the quality of the plastic. It just seemed like those plastic mounts were never going to work long term anyway. Returned the fan for refund. May try this again--but with a different brand.

When I unboxed the fan, there were some broken plastic pieces and loose screws in the plastic bag that it was packaged in. I plugged in the fan and it just buzzed, without any parts actually moving. The fan was also loose in its housing, so it would've scraped against it or rattled even if it moved. I had ordered two units, both were in the exact same condition!

First things first, shipping sucked, the box everything in was open and completely destroyed by the time it got to my doorstep. So I was expecting nothing to work but luckily all is well. Amazingly quiet for the amount of air it moves and the filter is huge. Con- no tabs to connect to cowboy clamps so make sure you have something to make tabs. IE zip ties. Pro- great bang for the buck.

When I fired her up fer the first time I was astonished how quiet the fan was even at the high setting, which sucked my tent sides in.
