- BUILT FOR CLARITY & DURABILITY Shock/Fog Proof. It is rain resistant, but not waterproof. Lenses are precision ground and polished to exacting geometries to virtually eliminate parallax and to provide a very clear, crisp sight picture.
- ASTIGMASTISM REMINDER- If you're not seeing a perfect round dot but instead observe a splashed dot, half-moon shape, multi-dot, or starburst, there's a high probability (99%) that you might have astigmatism without being aware of it. What you perceive is likely a small reflection of the LED light on the lens. A quick and simple way to confirm this is by using your cellphone to take a photo of the dot. If the photo shows a circular dot, you've essentially diagnosed yourself with astigmatism.

Which S&W models does the included optic plate fit? Fits most non-optic-ready S&W models including M&P, M&P Shield, M2.0 (standard/compact), SD9/SD40 series, and Zigana PX9 (non-optic-ready). What S&W models does the plate NOT fit? Does NOT fit optic-ready models or those with factory optic cuts, including M&P CORE, Shield Plus OR. Does not fit Shield EZ (.380/9mm), .30 Super Carry, .22 Compact, Sigma, and SW series (SW9/SW40/SW9VE/SW40VE). Will this plate fit optic-ready S&W models? No. It is designed for non-optic-ready models and replaces the factory rear sight. It will not fit slides with factory optic cuts.
