I was very pleased with how well the lamp was packaged. One tiny exception is a tiny screw that can easily be lost that holds the strain relief in place. I found it easy to assemble and impossible to misassemble. One of the bulbs did not work but the company quickly and easily credited me so I could buy one. I was very happy with the product and more than pleased with the company's rapid response to resolve my problem. I really like the lamp. I thought I wouldn't like the height being shorter than I thought but I really do. I can reach the switches while sitting down. The shades do not get hot. That's a big one because I've wasted a lot of money on lamps that get hot.

72 yo female here. I was able to drag rather heavy box into house, unpack it, and assemble lamp easily all within 15 minutes. Included bulbs work fine. I am very happy with this floor lamp. I will most likely never use the attached foot switch. It is clear plastic and useless for my needs.

    • A sturdy lamp with lots of illumination

Considering especially that the price of this lamp is under $55 (there is a $10 coupon that you'll be sure to check off), this is a sturdy, strong lamp that can be turned on either by each of the 3 switches on the back part of the metal covering or by stepping on the floor button. I saved the 3 bulbs that came with the equipment for use in the refrigerator since I believe you'd do well to use a stronger compact fluorescent. I use a Phillips 23 watt, equivalent of 100 watts, have done it for years and never had a problem using the extra illumination. I just ordered two more of these lamps. The lamp is made in China, so hurry and get it before Trump slaps a 60% tariff on imports from that great nation. ... show more

Easy to assemble, and it looks nice. It's not as sturdy as much more expensive models, but now often do you move or bang into a floor lamp? I like how it sends light in different focused directions to bounce off objects or corners. It's great!
