We purchased four strings to decorate our backyard for a wedding rehearsal dinner. At 100%, they are almost bright enough tobread by. Worth every penny but there are a couple of things to be aware of: 1) While you can join multiple strings in series, there is a significant voltage drop and each subsequent string will be noticeably dimmer. We overcame this by joining them in pairs: two strings per power source. We were not able to pair them all to a single remote. It appears that each remote pairs with its own power module. The connections are weather-proofed by o-rings. 2) You do not need to install the app to control the lights. They are dimmable with the remote but you won't be able to schedule them or control them from afar. The app link tripped a malware alert from Norton360. It did indeed appear that the app required far more permissions than seemed reasonable so I did NOT install the app. All in all, these are great and I would definitely purchase again. ... show more

I love these lights for the price and for how much use I get out of them. I have mine set on a timer depending on sundown, and set on a timer. They’re dimmable. However, a couple of lightbulbs burned through quickly, and it’s great they included extras, but now that we went through the two lightbulbs that were included I cannot find a lightbulb that will fit. The only solution I see is to buy another set and use it to fill in the old set. ... show more

Bought these to replace 2 sets of glass Edison bulbs that I paid over $100 for that broke during the first summer storm. For reference this pic represents just 1 box!! The remote control and dimming/timer functions are amazing. It came with a couple back up bulbs. But honestly for the price even if these only last a few years I’d be thrilled. Only 2/3 of the way through the summer, but so far so good with these lights. I bought one 48ft strand and liked it, but them I wanted to add more lights. I was able to link two 48ft strands without any problem. I say this because the reviews weren't clear this could be done, and the manufacturer's instructions were a bit vague about whether this could be done. It integrated with Alexa. Once the first strand was set up there was no need to set up the second. I just plugged it in and the first strand's controller worked to control both. ... show more

Was a little concerned at first. A few bad reviews and then after i set up the app, got everything ready I started to hang the lights. Low and behold it starts to rain "what am I worried about! they are outdoor rain proof!" What's this?????? MISSING BULB COVER ON A LIGHT IN THE RAIN. I got upset then went inside. Contacted seller after spending 15 minutes looking all over the floor and the ground in the rain to no avail! go inside a bit bummed out. Snatch up the bag it all came in and WHAT IS THIS. the cover is in the bag. Nearly impossible to see "same clearness lol".
