I looked long and hard for a watch like this. I can read the time even in dim light or darkness, and the luminosity lasts all night. I even charged it before bedtime, ONCE, with a flashlight, but then it was too bright (it seemed to light up the bedroom, but this is an exaggeration). The stem does not protrude straight out, but is offset, to save my wrist from stab wounds. I have two other beautiful and fine watches, each costing hundreds of dollars, that I can't wear unless I wear a band aid to protect my flesh from the stem. ... show more

Seems like a good watch so far, but the luminesence doesn't really light up at all. I can't use it to tell time in the dark even right after I leave a lighted room and go into my bedroom and turn off the lights. The date is too small for my old eyes to make out. HOWEVER for this price, 200m waterproof and sappire chrystal ... who cares ... show more

    • An OK watch, far more accurate than any mechanical.
Color: AD2507 black
This watch replaces a Steeldive 1970. In all respects but one, the Steeldive is equal or better than the Addiesdive. It's date is larger, the dial much better looking, the second hand is lumed, and the lume itself slightly better. The Addiesdive, with its quartz movement is far more accurate that the NH 35 mechanical movement in the Steeldive. When that NH 35 started showing wild swings in its accuracy, the Steeldive was put on the shelf. One month update: The watch looses only a second per week, the bezel aligns perfectly with the dial, and the sapphire crystal is anti reflective coated. So. Points to the Addiesdive. ... show more
