I didn't need 87 pockets & zippers, and carabiners, and nets, and pulleys, and wingnuts, and flaps, and velcro, and all that yadda-yadda. Basic. Functional. Durable. Uncomplicated. DONE. Feels comfortable over one or both shoulders, carries a decent load of books & sundries without straining the seams. I think the only thing I *might* wish-list for this backpack is a slightly more stout loop up top, for those cases where I want to pick it up that way. A little thicker, maybe a little padding. This bookbag is huge but sturdy with thick straps for comfort. The one thing we have trouble with is the zippers, they can be tricky (get stuck or hard to open/close) if not opened/closed at the correct angle but the kids haven’t complained at all. They love them. True to color too!

I love to pen pal, but needed the right bag to hold all of my supplies in an organized way. This has so many great pockets that I can get everything in there and organized with room to spare. The backpack is also very comfy to wear with slight padding on the back and the straps. It wears well with no digging into my shoulders when I wear it. It got a little dirty over the course of the school year, so I stuck it in the washer to see if I could get the stains out and they came right out. The backpack held up well in the wash.
