This works as good as the saunas I have tried on cruise ships or spas. I put it in my lanai since I had no space for it inside (I live in Florida so hopefully the climate is mild enough to not damage the fabric). My only criticism is the small folding chair. Aside from being small and uncomfortable, it’s a quick conductor of heat and it can really irritate and burn. So, I’m using a shower chair (shown in the picture), which is made of plastic and not a conductor of heat like the folding chair. So far, very happy with this!

This steamer is comparable to a sauna experience at a fraction of the price but there is a difference in performance between the two environments: A sauna gives a dry heat, high temperature, low humidity. A steam room sends out moist heat, lower temperature, high humidity. This steamer is small but tall enough to not feel too claustrophobic. Make sure to keep the padding inside the tent, not outside and under the tent. The provided chair is really helpful. I would have liked the steam box and outlet to be closer to the corners but this may be an engineering design. It is a small enclosed area, so be very careful of the steam box (don't touch) as it gets very hot during use. I use this in my dry basement, and after use, there is a loop on the door that can be used to hang onto a hook located at the top to help air out the moisture inside. The steamer takes over 10 mins for me when cold tap water is filled near the max line (don't fill over the max line or steamer won't work don't ask how I know).

First, I am always excited when I see that there are detailed instructions for assembly and usage, so this product already was a winner in my book! While you can set it up by yourself, it does help to have another person assisting. It really is quite simple to put the rods and connectors together, but if setting up on a tile floor, it might slide around while trying to put the tent on the frame, which is why it is helpful to have another person holding it in place. Once you slide the tent across the top, it's also helpful to have one person pulling the back down while you pull the front down so you can pull it over the frame evenly. The directions for setting up the steam box and the steamer vessel are simple and direct. I was skeptical that the room wouldn't get steamed up, so set it up in the guest bathroom, but was pleasantly surprised to see that the steam really did stay inside the tent. I love that it has windows so that you do not feel claustrophobic while inside. There is also a pouch inside for you to put your phone and remote. (I think it would be wise to encase both in a plastic baggie if taking them inside the tent.) There is also a pouch on the outside of the tent beneath one of the windows, so if you wanted to keep your phone outside the tent and play music, you can do that as well. It will be easy to take it down to store it, and reassemble as needed. You do need to set it up near an outlet in order to plug in the steamer unit. It is also very reasonably priced. These items come with the tent: an absorbent floor pad, a portable chair, a plastic foot massager, the steamer unit, and a remote control so that you could adjust the heat and steam as needed. The cons: The portable chair is a child-sized camping chair and I am very uncomfortable sitting on it because I am a larger person. I will replace it with a larger, adult-size chair. There is not much room around you when inside the tent so the steamer unit sits close to the chair and the metal on the chair got quite hot. Additionally, when I got in the tent the first time, my foot brushed against the steamer and I got burned (similar to quickly touching a cooling down stove burner), so I won't make that mistake again. I was a bit confused by a contradiction in the directions when it indicates to only put water in the steamer because it might corrode the unit, but then in another part it says it's ok to put essential oils in. I'll error on the side of caution and forgo the essential oils. I found the remote to be unresponsive inside the tent. I had to stand up, unzip the front window and point it directly at the unit, which sits outside of the tent, to adjust the temperature. Overall, it's a nice, portable unit and I will enjoy using it once I get a larger chair, (while I continue to work on my diet so I could fit in the child-sized one-- it just might be the incentive I needed!)

This is a super nice portable sauna! I have been wanting one of these for a while so I don't have to go all the way to the gym to use the sauna. This came very well packed and secured and everything was exactly as described in the ad. This even matched up with the measurements so it fit perfectly in the space we had for it. I love that it comes with that very nice steamer as well as a chair. Now I can put this in my garage and have my very own personal sauna! Total Game Changer and definitely worth every penny! Very heavy duty and well made. The material that it's made out of is nice and heavy duty and slick so it's very easy to clean. Definitely a great bang for your buck and a great quality product! If you are thinking about it don't hesitate it's super nice

I bought this because I had read articles that saunas and steam rooms can help heal illnesses and also extend your lifespan and quality of said life. Sounded like a win-win, but I could not find a sauna I could afford. ...Until I came across THIS! The good thing is that it works. It's a little short for hey talk person and pretty confining for anyone with an athletic build, but thankfully, there's a chair. It takes a good while to set up, say about 15 to 30 minutes out of your day, so I am thinking I might just leave it up. So, not an absolutely perfect experience, but for the price tag and convenience, it's a huge win for me! Great value!

I was really not sure what to expect here, but it's surprisingly good and includes a lot of stuff! It's pretty straightforward to set up, and the "steamer" works well. There's a little chair included for you to sit inside and even a (manual) feet massager you can roll your feet over. It has a nice mat you can put underneath it to protect whatever surface you are using it on. A nice option if you enjoy a steam without going to the gym!!
