I am 300 lbs. I had a car accident resulting in a back injury so standing at length is difficult. I had been using a wooden stool in my kitchen to sit on when doing dishes, cooking, cleaning, etc. But my weight was too much for it. The joints became loose and it started teetering. I almost fell off a few times. I re-glued everything several times, but it would start to break again. I decided to just invest in something that would hold my size. Metal stools are expensive! I searched for a couple months for something quality but affordable. Then I found these! I couldn't be happier. They are so sturdy. My weight seems to be no impact on them at all. They stay put on the floor, no sliding. They are very stylish with matte black paint, and a middle slotted hole to move easily. Plus I got two with this deal, so now I have one for another area and I don't have to lug the kitchen one around the house. Exactly how I thought they would look but the welded areas are very disappointing. Over all though they are great, sturdy and the style is what I was looking for. Not many options for white distressed bar stools so these were a good option. The distressed areas are black paint not sanded. I’m sure they will get there own distressing from the kids. Price wasn’t too bad but would have rather had better welds. ... show more

I really like the look of these barstools and the matte appearance, however, they show every speck of dust and dirt, or grease from tiny hands, and while the greasy comes off easily, they seem to attract the dirt like a magnet
