Have had this around a year, I think. It's not the main furniture that gets used most often, because I like to lie down when watching TV, so my couch has the "good spot" in the living room. My dogs, however, wrestle on it, and guests use it, and I've been known to sit on it when I want to prop my feet up. The material seems durable, and I find the love seat to be extremely comfortable (more comfortable than my couch for sitting). It is a bit firm, but that's what makes it so comfortable for me. Couches that swallow me up kind of creep me out and are hard on my back. When they're too "firm", they are just downright hard, and my kitchen bar stools would do just as well, if I were in the mood to punish my body for some odd reason. My folks are struggling with mobility issues and found sitting and standing back up to be no more difficult than the furniture they have at their own home that was purchased for that specific reason. I'm short, so MANY couches (ugggg! and car seats) have something that wants to push my head forward, causing extra trips to the chiropractor or they have some sort of "ergonomic" lump in the back that hits me in the wrong spot. I can actually sit AND recline in this with my back resting on the couch's back! My 6' tall boyfriend is just as comfy. The armrests are perfect (I've had furniture where the armrests were so low that I would have had to lean to use them), so not only do they support your arm, but decorative throw pillows don't just topple onto the floor. I assembled it myself... no issues. If I recall, I think it was basically sliding the back into the metal brackets. One of them took me kind of putting my upper body weight on it, but got it done. I appreciate that nothing came smashed in airtight plastic and that the couch was basically built. The having to do that bit of assembly was obviously for shipping purposes, rather than because they were too lazy to build what they were selling. lol I'm mid 50s and have back issues, but frequently slide this to clean under where it sits. I had considered getting the matching couch, but had no need of the foot rests and was worried a couch of this design would be harder on on my wood floors and my back, because it would weigh more due to its size. I'm happy withe the color. It actually has a bit more of a pattern (think highlights in hair) than I'd expected, and I like it better than the plain look I expected from the picture. I don't care for the "manual" things on any piece of furniture, because they are just designed cheaper than they used to be, but this one at least has them where you can reach them, rather than digging around between the seat and the side of the couch like you're looking for a lost seat belt. I wouldn't say they operate as smoothly as furniture used to be built "back in the day", but it's not to "jarring", and while I do have to put some muscle into getting the leg part to go back, I do NOT have to straddle it to get off the couch, turn around, and kick it shut while facing the couch. lol Also, the legs do go ALL the way up and they stay up while your legs are on them (yep, I've had issues with that in the past lol). The size and everything was as described and depicted online. The back... nothing fancy, just that material you Velcro at the bottom, but it's better than the ones that don't do anything to finish the back of the furniture. I have mine up by the wall, and I do have to pull it forward every so often, due to my dogs moving it during their wrestling matches, but the back of the seats do not lie back into the wall, so when you put it "normal" distance from the wall and then recline, neither the furniture, nor the wall is damaged. If it had cost less, I would have given 5 stars, but as there were many love seats available in this price range... this one isn't so special that I'd recommend it without somebody specifically asking me where I got. I AM, however satisfied with my purchase and can't think of anything I'd change on this furniture, which is extremely unusual for me. I'm on my second couch this year, and STILL not happy, and I'm not "appearance" oriented... I just want functional and comfortable and for something to built well enough that I don't have to mess with shopping for a replacement anytime soon. So far so good, I'll update this if things change. It was easy to put together, one person can do it. Don't go into this expecting a soft seat, it is very firm, but it's already beginning to soften up by use. So I expect in time this would be a super comfortable love seat / recliner. The recliner mechanism works fine for both seats, it all seems to be put together pretty well. I currently have no complaints but will keep you posted. Good deal for the price. ... show more

    • Disappointed - flattening out after only 3 days. ONE YEAR UPDATE

You can read my review below, but this is a quick update after 1 year. I now have severe muscle soreness and cramps in my back and right shoulder due to the poor construction and non-existent support. If you are considering this "piece", do yourself a favor, look elsewhere, spend a little more for a higher quality loveseat - there is NOTHING to love about this seat. VERY disappointed - after only three days the seats are have flattened out. Delivery was smooth, assembly was easy - but the cushion quality is completely unacceptable. After just three days both seats have flattened out and offer no support whatsoever. I will qualify this with "size of person": - I am 6' 180lbs, wife is 5' and maybe 105lbs. So we're not huge people expecting a piece of foam to support us ad infinitum. I figured this loveseat would provide comfort for at least one year but much to my dismay, this is not the case. My wife and I spent a few evenings watching movies and we both noticed how much the seat has already lost it's support and shape - the seats have lost their shape and are flat - meaning, they do not return to their original shape even after overnight. I expect a "budget" piece of furniture to do this, but not inside of just a few days. EG - I bought an American Freight rocker-recliner several years ago and it still maintains it's shape and support in the seat today. That rocker/recliner cost about $400 when purchased - pretty good value. The cost of this piece of furniture although "budget", doesn't excuse the poor quality. Even "budget" furniture should hold up for at least one year. You can CLEARLY see the seats have lost their shape which is completely unacceptable, especially after just three days. Once you have the loveseat unpacked and assembled you're stuck with it. You can't just throw it back in the box and take it to the UPS store for a return. Simply put you are stuck with a sub-par, unsightly worn-out-in-three-days piece of junk. Do yourself a solid and look elsewhere - be warned, this loveseat may look nice, but it has no redeeming qualities. I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS LOVESEAT FOR ANY REASON. ... show more

The chair was easy to put together, no screws or bolts, just a slide in metal plate. The chair was smaller than I had hoped, with a rather narrow seat. Even with my small 5'3" frame, my feet hang over the end of the footrest. The chair is appropriately sized for a smaller area, but would not be suitable for a larger space. The chair was also firmer than I had hoped. I wanted something a little more cushier and comfortable that you could just sort of sink into. The furniture looks nice in appearance.     • furniture seems decent in quality EXCEPT for massager in the single chair recliner!

massaging recliner is useless, it hard and near the surface and jabs into your lower back and all it does is buzz at a high pitch up your spine and actually gives me a headache, remote cord to short also, we never use it at all anymore, dont buy this single chair recliner for those reasons!
