Item is great for the cost. I selected this item because it had a deeper drawer. It is not as heavy duty as others that cost much more. I had no issues with the mounting hole alignment like was mentioned in other reviews. You have to realize that you may need to move up one hole for all the mounting holes align. I like the brushed black aluminum look. It is a dust magnet though, maybe because it was wrapped in plastic and had static charge. I like the hiding handle. The handle mount screws are sharp on the inside so be careful. I liked that it came with mounting hardware and a non slip mat. I purchased 2 and both have the same key. It was well packaged from factory with foam and cardboard supports. I opted to have item shipped not showing the item so came double boxed. Overall I am very pleased with this item. Pros: - Useful. To be able to store networking/server-related items in the rack is very handy, - Well built. The drawer is not heavy steel. However, it is the right thickness and weight. - Stylish. This is a premium network rack drawer. - Functional. Enough space to store tools, drives, and cables. The lock is more of a deterrent, than "fort knox". After spending considerable time to find rack mount drawers for my studio desk, none of which get perfect reviews, I settled on 3 of these despite some bad reviews. I try to take the good with the bad, and usually read the 2 and 3 star reviews as they are generally the most informative. But unfortunately in this case, I have to agree with several of the other fairly negative reviews. Before I get to the negative, I would say that overall this could be great. It’s sturdy construction, it looks nice, they roll nicely, and I will probably even buy one more now because I need a forth drawer and I want them all to match. BUT - and I really wish there wasn’t a but, they are far from perfect. Out of 3 drawers, one of them was bent on the end (just like other pictures had shown) despite the packaging being in perfect condition, so it had to have gone out that way. When I pulled the tape off of the bent drawer, the paint came off with it. Next, out of all three drawers, NONE close correctly. Every one of the them closes completely on the left side, while leaving a gap on the right side. Lastly, as others have said, two of the three drawers had holes that do not line up with the racks. I was able to get them mounted by placing the bottom screws in before the drawer was flush, and then tightening everything down. Not ideal, but they work for what I need. I will touch up the paint and live with the fact that they don’t close flushly. I just wish they were perfect! The seller told me I could send all drawers back for a refund, but who wants to deal with unmounting from the racks, re-packing these heavy boxes and standing in line at the post office with a hand-truck to return. We use Amazon to avoid all that. I think most sellers are well aware that most people won’t spend a couple hours putting up with this level of inconvenience. Sending a 4th drawer or a partial refund would be an acceptable solution. At the asking price, these should be perfect, but if you don’t mind the imperfections and and have a lot of money to blow - you’ll likely get a drawer that works for you. ... show more

    • Great drawer for a home or private studio
First and foremost, this is a home studio drawer, not a road drawer, for two primary reasons. First, the materials look nice, but the metal is thin and shifts a lot during installation. I'd be concerned about it holding up with a lot of time on the road. Second, the lock is placed to the side of the drawer, not the middle, meaning if you pull hard enough on the opposite side, the lock is easy to beat because the drawer materials flex so much. I frankly wouldn't trust it enough to leave it unattended in a venue. Those frustrations aside, I AM using this in a home studio, so it isn't a personal concern. I love how the drawer looks in my rack, and it's one of the deeper drawer options I've found lately, especially for the price. The hidden handle is a nice touch, though also a security risk if used on the road potentially. After installation, I really don't have any major gripes, and I think for the price range you'd have a hard time beating this drawer. ... show more

    • Great for a stationary rack, my mistake
This is a beautiful looking brushed aluminum drawer that would be perfect for a clean look in a stationary rack. The fold away handles have a clean appeal, and the brushed aluminum gives it a classy presentation compared to the typical matte black (which I have no issue with, just a nice touch). However, since I put it in a rolling rack going from job site to site, I should have gotten a latching drawer. So if you have a stationary rack, solid recommendation. If not, pass and get a latching option ... show more

These are well worth the money! I purchased them in different sizes to go into my music workstation. 1) Nice and sturdy! 2) Fit into existing rack, but had to leave a gap in between the drawers for the holes to align. (Rack's fault, not the drawers.) 3) Comes with a lock and key. (Some people think all the keys are the same, they are not...at least mine are not.) 4) The handle rotates in and out to give it a nice flush look. 5) Came with a drawer liner which I wasn't expecting and was a nice touch. 6) Came with the hardware. (Screws and nuts but didn't need them, already had some with the rack.) I also purchased one of the same company's shelves and it is just as high quality.
