great product for lizard cage climate. Probably the best cage climate control on the market

This is a great product! I got it for chameleon cage climate control. Setting it up was easy and has made my life so much easier and my lizard very content. The app is geared toward growing plants indoor more than pet climate control but it beats anything else ive seen or tried for pets. I love that it will notify my phone how i want and I can check the temps and humidity of the cage anytime and anywhere and turn on a fan or lamp manually if needed. I travel a lot and this takes care of a lot of the stress and worry. I know I could leave for vacation and my chameleon will be comfortable. Makes it easier for the person I have feed the lizard while im away, because they only got to worry about feeding. Lots of customizing options for the schedule with time, temp, and humidity ranges as conditions. The AI features are great, work well and ARE optional . I found that for my setup with a lizard, that manually setting the conditions/schedule worked best. This company could market more to pet owners with this product and I believe they would do well. Like i said its geared toward growing indoor plants but i hope to see the app have a pet mode or general mode in the future with AI trained for pets or other applications, although it's not necessarily. Very adaptable

This works fantastic! Great for many applications, you can turn the AI nonsense OFF so this will operate as a standalone programmable power strip. Each outlet can be individually setup as timer, temp or scheduled to turn on off. Very happy. And with Bluetooth only, no need for another ridiculous account and password. Automation will only turn on the plugs once a day!

Absolutely worthless for one of its main advertised uses. Specifically for irrigation purposes, go elsewhere. Each outlet can be set for a schedule, or on a stopwatch style countdown, or to turn on by interaction with the sensor. UNFORTUNATELY... If you want to use this for irrigation (ie: controlling a irrigation pump), it can only be turned on ONCE A DAY by automation. You cannot set it up to irrigate more than once a day, and it will only utilize minutes and hours for the timer, and not seconds. This is all considered basic functionality that you can get with a $25 KASA smart plug, but this $70 to $90 item can't do that. So disappointing. Whoever designs stuff for AC Infinity seems to be completely incompetent. I'm not waiting around hoping on some firmware update after what I paid for this glorified power strip. Great App for monitoring and configuring

Have not had any issues with it so far, the app is very good for charting and statistical analysis. A little weirded out that it demands to know your location before allowing you to connect to the WiFi. I’m just using it for temp/humid control in an external building and it’s doing a great job. There is a little bug in setting the target temp does not actually change the temp it’s trying to drive to, that’s hidden in a deeper menu, not available on the graphing screen. That aside, I like staring at the figures. Configuring the additional outlets to other devices is simple and makes sense. Nice chunky power cord I feel confident having a heater plugged into it. You have to wall mount it for sure though. Good range on the WiFi, I have it in an external building some distance from the router buried in my house. Very pleased. ... show more

Very pleased with this unit, highly recommend if using UIS ecosystem. If you go in deep I suggest this unit paired with the 8 outlet, expanding sensor ports by 1 per unit , ( must use co2 sensor with smart strip )

I Love this,,,, but

I really like this and even bought two of them. I really like how the versatile the app is which lets me see the history, lets me control individual outlets, lets me pick exactly what I want to be a trigger for turning an outlet on or off, and I was excited that it came with temp/humidity sensor on the power strip as well as a remote temp/humidity sensor, and an additional plug to add a second, remote sensor. One strip was for a basement and really lets me know how well (or not) my dehumidifier is working; the basement is in Maine, and I live in Maryland. When the humidifier has a problem, I can shut off the power from Maryland and have the dehumidifier reboot on power-up and start working again. The second unit I bought to monitor a small room that I have my NAS running in. I used to have a circulating fan running all the time, but with this smart power strip, I can set a very narrow temperature band to run the fan part time, instead of 24 hours a day; I have the fan come on at 74 degrees and turn off at 73 degrees. I wanted to add a second, remote temperature sensor outside the house. With the three sensors (one in the room, one outside the room where it sucks the air from, and the new one outside), I would be able to see how the weather might affect the house/room. The listing said the outlet could add an additional sensor, but I could not get the smart strip to recognize the new, 24ft sensor. It took me a few times to get an answer when I called tech support, but when I finally reached a person, they were very nice, even though I did not like the answer that the second sensor could not be the same class as the first sensor. This was not clear in the listing for either the power strip or sensor probe. The tech was very nice and said they would pass forward/up my comments. Set-up was very easy, but if you have an older Wi-Fi system with different SSIDs for the 2.4 Ghz vs the 5 Ghz, you need to make sure your phone (mine is an Android) is on the 2.4 Ghz band. Once the smart strip is connected to the Wi-Fi, it was very easy to connect to the power strip remotely. I almost gave this smart power strip 5 stars anyway, but excellence is hard to achieve. ... show more

These things should get way more attention, they are awesome. I needed 3 outlets and I needed them to be on/off with VPD, advanced lighting schedules, and temp/humidity. If you are looking at any of their controllers and you know you need an extra AC module to control a light, this is what you need. If you have a ton of UIS units you are better off with the AI+ controller. ... show more

This basically works as an ai controller but only has 2 sensor ports ... its easy to set up and works great ..i use it for my lights and auto watering system then use my ai controller to control my other sensors and ac infinity devices I have connected humidifier dehumidifier fans etc ...if you have devices that are not ac infinity you can control them via the plug ins in the powerstrip which I would think is the main selling point ... FYI make sure your other brands devices have a auto turn on feature or a physical switch or it won't work properly ... show more
