I bought this set because it was cheaper than buying each piece individually. Plus all the colors matched. The metal material and coating appears to be of quality material. So far it has held together and my kids have been over excited and using it everyday since I put it together. It is a great set and easy to put together. You just need to have the correct boards for the legs and top piece. I did have to use a rubber mallet to pound the 4x4 into the top bracers. Otherwise everything slid into place like cake. I did buy longer legs than what goes with the set, 16 foot 4x4 because my kids wanted it to be tall. I did have to add some extra chain for the added length. But if you are going to make one with 10 foot boards the chain length for the swings would be adequate. Overall, this is a great set and easy to use. The included heavy duty bolts are wonderfully for s curing all the boards. I added two 2x4 cross pieces for added strength in the legs.

I bought this for my spouse's birthday. They were so surprised. We had a fun and a great time putting it together. It was a great price for all the parts. We bought 12' 4x4s and sunk them about 3 feet (we did concrete them in), so taller adults can swing freely and have the kind of fun they haven't had since they were kids. We added 2x4s to the sides to give it stabilization. We did need to plane the tops of the legs to fit in the brackets. It feels very sturdy. We had no problems with the brackets. We put the two swings on it and are waiting for our hammock swing to arrive. I am a plus-size woman, and the swing seat is fine for about a 15-minute swing.

Terrible. Do not buy! Both brackets cracked when trying to slide in the 4x4 and the 4x6. It is an extremely tight fit. Wasted about an hour of my day!

Very happy with this purchase!! We only wanted swings, but needed it to be big enough so that my teenage daughters and adults could enjoy. Building it ourselves was cheaper & quicker. You definitely need some muscle in order to lift the wood beams! It came out great! We used pressure treated wood, these measurements: 1-4x6x12’ top beam 4-4x4x10’ legs 2-2x6x8’ side stabilizers Also, purchased two 40 inch extensions for the swings because they would have been way too short otherwise. We will see how well it lasts!!

so i read other reviews and did make a few adaptations . i did use a longer 6x5 so as to not lag into the ends, additionally one of the hardware peaces did crack on installation, and it was because it was slightly over tightened near a weld. "note i was doing them by hand socket wrench so be carful when installing the lags. i also went out and bought lumber for leg braces overall im pleased with it

All we had to do was drive over to Lowe’s to add the lumber to this kit and boom we had a very nice looking and sturdy swing set for our kids. Pretty easy to put together too I would recommend buying a 12 foot 4x8 for the top beam the one the swings attach to and pushing the brackets in a foot on each side so the lag bolts aren’t so close to the end of the beam. My wife had to help me with some parts the lumber does make it heavy but overall easy to assemble.

I purchased these brackets for a swing frame build, and overall they did the job, but there are a few important things to be aware of before buying. The biggest issue is the sizing. The brackets are manufactured to match the exact dimensions of standard lumber, which sounds good in theory but doesn’t work well in practice. Dimensional lumber is almost always slightly oversized or inconsistent, so I had to sand down every single piece to get it to fit. Because the tolerances are so tight, the brackets also split when tapping in the 4x6 beams, which was frustrating and definitely something that should be addressed in the design. If these brackets were redesigned to be about 1/8" larger than typical dimensional lumber, they would be nearly perfect and much easier to work with. On the positive side, the included hardware is excellent. The lag bolts are high quality, the swing supports feel very solid, and the lubricated bearings are a huge upgrade compared to standard eye bolts. The chains and their coating also seem durable and well-made. Overall, I would recommend this product because it works and the hardware quality is strong—but be prepared to do extra sanding on your lumber to make everything fit properly.
