As soon as I opened the shipping box I noticed that the packing around the lock had seemed previously opened. It would've been no concern had the item not looked used/had a dead battery. It seems like maybe someone used the lock for a while and then returned it. Additionally, there were finger prints/oil marks on the lock. This would have been no problem had the battery not been dead and I was able to use it. The instructions state it should make a beep noise after you lock it but I could not get the lock to beep or even set off the alarm. A dead alarm wont be of use to me if someone tries moving my motorcycle. I am disappointed that the company would send a item that does not work. Update: it cost me $19 to ship back this faulty item.
