When I got this reel, I was excited to give it a try. I only use 500 size ultralight reels. I own the most popular ones and this one was worth a try. It was stiff on the crank but after two consecutive days of use, it freed up. Now it's making noise and sounds like it needs to be lubed. It is nice but need work. The reall is decent for the money. Inner parts are not the highest quality so make sure if you use it regularly, you do the reel maintenance every 6 months. if you drop in sand or dirt clean it right away as the gears will get ruined.
