A friend in a remote location had to buy a foam mattress to sleep on. It STUNK! At least with this, the smell was confined, & his sheets do not stink anymore. Does what it was intended to do. Yes, sleeping on plastic is hot, but that is what a mattress pad is for, so it is not hot. This has proved very durable, as his piece of foam was on wood slats.

I didn't realize when I ordered that this product wouldn't fit a thick single mattress. I don't like most the waterproof sheets I have tried as they are noisy and not soft to sleep on. The material felt great and wouldn't have been 'noisy' I believe and I feel it would have been a wonderful purchase if it would fit an extra thick mattress. Also I am older and to put a mattress into a mattress protector would be very difficult. I had to return the product.

Well, I have 1.5 year old twins they share a room so needless to say, when one wakes up they both wake up and I don’t get much sleep… they had dual sided memory foam mattresses and I never put waterproof covers on them… one of them has to have water during the night and fills her nighttime diaper and sometimes it leaks. Not being able to wash the old mattress I get grossed out thinking there was probably mildew growing inside it even letting it dry in front of a fan. I bought these mattresses and they have slept 3 nights in a row straight through the night… like 12 hours… not only did it fix the problem of moisture… but we’re all sleeping. I like to think it’s the mattress comfort but maybe it’s coincidence?! I don’t know but the price had me very nervous being so inexpensive. For now,‘I’m chalking it up as a win and for that I’m giving 5 stars. I’m very happy and so are my girls. My husband is also happy because I’m not miserable from lack of sleep 😁

It was exactly what I needed for both of my toddler is because the other mattress protectors are not made from vinyl or plastic and they are not impervious to large PeePee accident!!! They’re great for small problems and keeping your children’s mattress clean for other smaller issues. However, when they’re still potty training throughout the night, you need to know there is an actual real plastic barrier between the mattress and your child… With that said, I always still put the additional non-plastic/vinyl mattress protector over this one and then their sheets and then the rest of their bedding. So this is absolutely perfect! When they have an accident, I can take all the bedding off...spray this vinyls one down with some cleaner and wipe it up with paper towels and then just throw their bedding into the washing machine…… problem solved and mattress 100% protected!

I got this to cover the inner cushion of my Dogs bed as it was nearly impossible to find one that was waterproof and unfortunately she. My dog would have an accident even though I could wash the cover I would still have to throw it away😆 this fits a little long but it works perfect!!!!! Very affordable and I could not find something plastic that didn’t soak on some kind of water in the stores Thank you this was a lifesaver and I order another!!

Based on the reviews, I had high hopes for the durability of this mattress case, but within a month of my son sleeping on it, there was a big rip in it. This will probably be fine as a storage protector, but don't get this if you want to actually have someone sleep on it. In terms of liquid proofing, it performs as expected until you get a rip.
