——-Updated review—— 3/8/25 I took the tent off my truck in August and set it in the corner of my driveway in August of ‘24. I had every intention of moving it into my shed out of the elements. Due to medical hardship in the family I had many other things that took priority over relocating the tent. It sat on the ground in direct sunlight with all kinds of stuff falling onto it from surrounding trees. The only issue with it is the slight fading of the top from UV. Looks like a slight oxidation of the clear but no cracking and it will likely buff out. Everything inside was exactly as I left it. If I could add a start for that, I absolutely would. The last picture was this morning so you can see how well it has held up. —-original review —— After shopping around for months I decided to try this tent since most of the RTTs on the market seem to be very similar with vastly different prices. The only issues I have with the tent are the mattress being very thin (I picked up a 3.5” topper to solve that), and when putting the tent down all of the canvas wants to billow out. An elastic band or bungee cord helps with that. Overall, great tent, great price and very well made. After shopping around for months I decided to try this tent since most of the RTTs on the market seem to be very similar with vastly different prices. Very happy with the tent. Like other people said the price is great compared to other more expensive tents. This is my first rooftop tent so I didn’t want to go all out and spend double the price for something I’ve Never used before. But I am happy to report that I love it and want to sleep in it all the time. There are a couple things to note: the directions suck (I had to YouTube other people setting it up) and the directions/poles/tools are all located inside the tent, the light strips do not come with a usb plug or a buttons to change the colors (or at least mine didn’t). The tent shipped pretty quickly too. The space is also perfect for two people. We are going to be camping with our 40lb dog too and think that won’t be an issue. Overall happy with it and would recommend for people who want to save a buck and don’t mind figuring out the accessories. Overall it does the job! ... show more

    • Rooftop Tent - Troubled by Numerous Problems
The installation hardware is thin and not safe. The tent can't handle snow and melting water. It's sweltering hot in summer. It can't provide a comfortable sleep. Get away from it as soon as possible.
