I bought this replacement top for my EZ-Up Encore II (circa 2006). As anyone with an original EZ-Up knows, the original canopy is water resistant but not water proof - they tend to leak at the seams. I bought the white version of this waterproof canopy replacement top because it lets in the most light and looks the most professional at the higher-end craft shows I do. This week I put this replacement top on my EZ-Up frame, and it really fits very well - better than the original, perhaps. There are subtle differences in how it goes on, so as to be waterproof. 1st, the top center pole slides into a pocket on the inside of the canopy (instead of going through the top). Also, there are no grommet holes for the screws in the center of each side. The 4 screws that hold the original canopy in place should be screwed back on (to hold the frame together) before you fit the new canopy on. Instead, there are velcro straps in the center of each side (where the grommet holes are on the original) that you can attach to the frame to hold it in place. All-in-all, it was a good fit on the EZ-Up frame and collapsed just fine with the frame. I have not yet tested this in wet weather. Once I do, I'll add more to this review and adjust the rating if necessary. But looking at it, the canopy replacement should be waterproof as advertised. It's thicker than the old top and a more plastic-like material with sealed seams. It also seems sturdier. I hope it saves my stuff next time I'm caught in rain. 9/14/2015 Update: I'm terribly disappointed after having used this in the rain this past weekend. We set up the canopy Friday night for a Sat & Sun show, so we had two overnights with rain and two days with off & on drizzle as a test. Both mornings it was obvious that the rain came right through the fabric - not along the seams, as it did with the original EZ-Up cover. The drops bead up on top of the material and then soak through and drip down inside. This happened on its own - we did not touch the canopy top (for fear of making it more permeable, as it can with water-resistant canvas material). Everything inside was soaked (I did have everything packed up in waterproof containers) and needed wiping down each morning. Since it was obvious Saturday morning that the canopy top is nothing close to waterproof (barely qualifies as water resistant), I knew I had to completely pack everything up for Sat night, clean up the next morning, and then set up again. Even through the day with periodic drizzle, we had drops here & there come through. 9/18/2015 Update: the seller has contacted me to make this right. They'll be sending me a replacement top, and as soon as it arrives I will test it & report back here. Points for reaching out to fix this. 10/08/2015 Update: Ok, the seller sent me a replacement fairly quickly. Unfortunately, it arrived just as I was leaving for 2 weeks, so I had no chance to test it until today. And it passed with flying colors! It looked exactly the same as the 1st, but the material felt different - it seems like the same thing but with a heavy coating of waterproofing. I may be incorrect - it may be a different material but it seems just as heavyweight & sewn with double-stitched seams just as before. Anyway, I put it on my frame, opened up the canopy & then used the hose to douse the top with water. No drops came through. I shook it & no drops fell through. I even gave it a heavy direct spraying with the hose for several minutes, and again all the water rolled off the top & nothing came through. So, I'm really happy with it again.

This top looks and feels tough and should hold up well, we've had a lot of wind and rain since we put it on and so far I'm really happy with this replacement, the original lasted a long time and the frame was fine but really needed a new top and it fit perfect, ours was a commercial ez-up with high point on top and its perfect......

Update: The dark brown doesn'y put off too much heat and blocks the sun great! The MAIN issue I have with the white replacement is it's not like the original. I had white that fell apart and purchased a white replacement. The original white canopy cover has silver type paint on the inside that BLOCKED the sun! The replacement is all white, thin and the sun comes through it big time. Too bright for us. Epic fail. At least sell 2 different types so we have a choice instead of saying it's a direct replacement. The 1st pic I posted shows the silver paint (original that blocks the sun). I also posted 2 pics of the brown material and 1 of the white replacement. The dark brown has material on the outside and rubberized material on the inside that blocks nearly all sunlight!!! I went with the brown. It works perfect! For now I will stick with the dark brown!

We do a lot of outdoor art shows and needed a replacement top that would fit King Canopy frame, which is sturdier/thicker than a typical ABC/EZup. It has top and bottom loops on one side for attaching a banner, and a little pocket that holds the center post in place so it doesn't shift when setting up. Fits snug, as expected, seems are all good. Have used it twice, seems to hold up well in the rain. No problems so far. It's economical, so with regular use we expect to get a year or two before we have to replace it again.

I can't speak to the durability or water resistance yet as I just received the replacement canopy today. The listing for this canopy shows that it is 118 x 118 x 49.2 inches and I was concerned it wouldn't fit my Eurmax frame which is 120 x120 x53 inches but I just tried putting this on my frame and it fits perfectly. I will say that this replacement canopy feels a bit thinner than the original that came with my Eurmax pop up. However, it has the same details as the Eurmax replacement canopy, but this one comes with reinforcements in all of the spots the frame meets the fabric canopy. This ABC canopy also came with 4 free weight bags and had Prime shipping, which was a deciding factor for me.

Before I attached it, I checked to make sure water was not going to be dripping down on me or my wood products. I draped it over a couple of 2x4's and turned the water hose on. I don't know how much water I put in it to hold but it had to be around 4 gallons. I let sit there for about 5 minutes and nothing seeped through. It was a keeper and the bags for sand came in handy. It didn't rain at the show but it sure was windy.

Love that this fit my EZ-UP!! My original canopy finally failed after 5 years of heavy usage. The frame was still in great shape and could not bring myself to throw it away. Well apparently that is exactly what EZ-UP would like you to do because they do not sell replacement canopies!!! I found this and decided to give it a try. I could not be happier!! The fit is perfect, material is durable, and all of the seams appear to be really well stitched. I have only used this for a few months now but very happy!! I do not use the weight bags so I have no insight on those.
