Update: over the past few weeks the seller has emailed me 30+ times trying to bribe me with gift cards to delete this review! I told them that the review was legitimate, and I would only change it of they could convince me that the issue had been addressed and the material.of the canopy was more durable, or that I just got a defective one. They had no interest in that and only tried offering me more money (which I doubt I would ever see). This is definitely against Amazon policy. The design is great. It took a while to figure it out the first time, as the instructions were not great, but since I tested it at hone, I had no trouble when I got to the beach. The wind was moderate, and it held up well to the wind. I really like the design, but unfortunately after it only being used on one two-day beach trip, it already has a lot of damage so I am returning it. The carrying case has multiple rips in it and the material is not rip-stop, so they will just keep getting worse. The stitching on the handle is already tearing off. They just used a basic straight stitching despite the weight it needs to hold. Lastly, the canopy already has a small hole in it.

The ABCCANOPY Pop Up Canopy Tent 10X17 Outdoor 3-Tier Shade with Adjustable Dual Half Awnings is an excellent choice. I am using it as a sun shade on our patio. The unit is sturdy and opens into position with only one person installing it. The instructions are very poor when it comes to installing the canopy top. It took me longer to fit the cover and position correctly. Once the main cover is on, the two additional caps at the top of the canopy are easy to install. The ropes and ground stakes need improvement. I went with Liberty Outdoor ANCFR10-ORG-R Folding Ring Spiral Ground Anchor, 10-inch, 4 Pack. Much better anchors. Overall, I recommend this pop-up canopy based on quality and price.

It lasted 3 months, the canopy shredded, around each side, the end pop out completely detached from the canopy it’s self, it ripped up each seam. Definitely not worth it. Do not let the other reviews tell you anything, it’s not made to stay up for any long period of time. Might be okay for same day use and put away. But I’m highly disappointed in how it ripped easily. The metal from holds tough. And the problem being is you can’t even buy just the canopy part.

The package arrived perfectly, all the parts are well protected. The package is more heavier than I expected,which is good. I like the design having wings for extra space . It's easy to assemble as well,took me about 15 minutes. I like the sturdiness since I haven't not received any problems during the rainfalls in past few days. Overall, it's great product and definitely recommend it.

I purchased one of these. I liked it so much I purchased another one. The first canopy top was well made. The second canopy the material and stitching seemed different but I kept it anyway. I’ve used it a total of 6 times. The material is so inferior that it has a 3 foot tear. The first canopy I have is still good and strong. I’m very unhappy.

This is a great canopy for the price. Pretty large and expandable sides! Sun protection and rain protection are perfect. A bit tough to assemble, but I did it myself in a little over an hour. We bolted to our deck and it stayed put. In high winds it would’ve blown away if not anchored down. Remember to lower sides in heavy rain or it will pool up and weigh sides down. Very happy overall. We always get compliments on the canopy from guests!

I am so disappointed with this canopy. We used it 4 times. It always took at least 2 people to set up. It never closed easily. The metal pieces that broke looked rusted and it’s never been rained on or wet! We had a Costco canopy for like 5 years and this lasted not even a month!

The sack for sand is a plus. Had some windy days, held up well..the openings at top layer helps alot. Highly recommend. Has list of parts replacement, except for covers. Im unsure why not. Has strong velcro at corners of cover.
