Well, let me start by saying I didnt order these for working out! We have a 11 yr old lab with arthitis and jumping up and down off the couch and bed are proving to be more difficult as she gets older. We have wood floors in one area, and carpet in the other. We thought she needed a little "boost" to help her on/off of things and these being 1 inch thick was a big bonus! They do have some give but not a lot so she'll feel stable. So, they arrived just now, I hooked 2 together and then 2 more to make a square. I put it in front of the love seat and she immediately hopped up on it with very little problem! My husband looked at me and said "Worth EVERY penny!!!!"... .Now, I have a LOT more of these and will go place them around the bottom of our bed so she wont have to hit the hard floors when jumping down. These mat pieces are large, 24 inches, and they are textured which is nice for traction! They press together very nicely where you barely see the seam. I'm completely impressed. For our purpose these are PERFECT. And to be honest, they'd be GREAT for yoga, working out, kids area, etc. The shipping was so fast when we got the notification we had a package, I was shocked it was these!! I just ordered them 2 days ago!!! Thanks for a great product that fits our needs perfectly!

Very happy with product so far. Foam density feels ideal. Well packaged, great communication from seller indicating the possibility of multiple shipments, however mine all arrived early and together. Pattern has great grip and is double-sided. Every square came with a flat fringe and a corner fringe that were all well cut and easy to remove. Very satisfying to put together 😊. Note about sizing: 24"x24" in includes the fringe, which is removed on all but your edge pieces, so when ordering and using multiple you will get a compounding error in your measurements so expect large builds (pictured is 12'x18') to end up a bit smaller than the measured area.

These mats serve their purpose and were good enough for what I needed them for. My parents actually have the same ones in their home gym and have had them for about three years with moderate use, and they’ve held up well. They interlock nicely, were extremely easy to put together and are a fair quality. They are not extremely heavy duty, more like a thicker foam, but they are still durable enough for a typical home gym setup. I also appreciated the size, I got the 96sqft coverage .8 thickness it came with 24 squares. I used all 24 to cover my small home gym area. One thing to be mindful of is if you are installing them in an unfinished basement or a new build. I would recommend making sure the floor has been thoroughly swept and mopped first. The mats are black and tend to hold onto dust, so you will notice footprints easily if dust gets tracked onto them.

I bought 2 of these and put them outdoors, I must say I really love them, they're huge, so easy to connect, nice and cushiony, and feel great when you walk on it! I didn't use them for what they were originally intended to be used for, I used them for an outdoor sort of patio for my feral cat colony that I take care of. I wanted them to have a place that wasn't so cold because I have nothing but cement, and in the winter the cement is freezy cold on their poor little paws, so I came up with this cheap solution, the other hard plastic patio tiles are SOOO expensive and you don't get that many for the size they are, while these are 2'×2', the patio tiles only come in 11 inches or 12 inches, which to me means you're going to pay a whole lot for them, and these did a really great job, plus I love that they stop the rain from advancing into my car port, since I have the complete mat right in front of it. It's rather large to, went all the way across! Today as I write this has been a very blustery rain day. I have swept off the water on it, it dried quickly, and the rain did not go into the carport where I have warm cat houses for them to stay in for the winter. These are SOOOO PERFECT!! I recommend them absolutely, you won't have any regrets!! I'm buying MORE!!! I've sent photos of them put together, as you might notice, on one side is the rubber tiles, on the other side next to the rubber tiles is artificial grass for the cats to play in. I did buy the grass on Amazon too. I'm updatiing my review...today (12/29/18) we got freezing cold weather with snow, not a whole lot because in the desert Southwest it's very unusual, but the low was 28°, and it hasn't gotten warm at all, only 35°. The rubber tiles didn't have any snow on top of it, the artificial grass did. I have a water bowl on the rubber tiles and one on the cement, the one on the cement froze, the one on the rubber tiles did not freeze, nor did the tiles feel cold, I touched them and they only felt cool, but the cement was freezing cold, could explain why the water froze! Great rubber tiles for certain...thought it might help anyone thinking about using them in the same way I did! I am updating my rewiew, since I've added so many more tiles, I've put more pictures of it. One thing else I didn't add...they are easy to clean!

I ordered the 3/4” thick 96 square feet tiles and they didn’t disappoint. Perfect interlocking puzzle piece style tiles that sit flush with each other, and plenty of border pieces to make it look even nicer. I’ve set up a full power rack on top of the flooring as well as a weight tree, a commercial grade bench, and will also be setting up a dumbbell stand in the near future. The 3/4” thickness is perfect, plenty of bounce to protect the cement floor underneath when dropping heavy weight and rigid feeling enough under your feet at the same time. None of the tiles slide around or anything and I didn’t apply any anti-slip or adhesive on these, just installed straight on top of my swept garage floor. I’ll probably end up buying more of the same size to extend my working area out and to have backups, just in case.

I purchased the 1/2” 24 sq. ft tiles to place a Bowflex home gym system on. First off the tiles are 1/2” thick as indicated and all connected very well. The 1/2” thickness I felt was perfect for protecting my hardwood floor and keeping any possible sound from disrupting my neighbor below. The home gym has a bench attachment and I was able to place 4 tiles together to cover the base of the machine at the top and place 2 tiles down the center for the bench extension with very little modification. Basically just had to snip a little bit of the edge off the 1 tile to allow it to connect to the 4 piece attachment. Installation was easy and the edges attached perfectly. There was also plenty of room on the mat behind the machine to place accessories on and room along the sides/end of the machine. I have had the mat for a month now and even when lifting the machine bench for storage I have not noticed any portion of the mat sinking all the way to the ground. The gym machine stays securely on the mat when working out so there is no fear of it sliding. However, the mat does allow for me to easily maneuver the machine if need be for placement. Overall, I think this is a great quality mat and I would purchase again for any future equipment I will buy.

We moved homes and wanted some floor cover for the back cement area in the basement. At our prior home we had used a large carpet remnant for the floors, it keeps it quieter and cleaner, less cement dust and you can just vacuum it. However it is nice to have cushion for jumping jacks, jump squats, ab or floor work, etc. I decided to purchase some of these, I actually bought a 48-pc. x 2, then bought another 6-pc. to add more edge. I ordered the 1/2" thickness because I wanted a little cushion, but not too much since when doing curls, presses, etc. you will sink more and it will adversely affect your balance and stability. There are more edge piece trim than you need, but there are 2 types so just adjust as needed. Now with it all down it looks really good, we have a 10 ft. x 12 ft. area covered and that is also nice for heavy bag area too. Having read some other reviews, will watch the puzzle seams, if they don't stay together well I'll put duct tape on the bottom side seams to keep them pulled together. It is also super easy to clean, just sweep it or mop, or even run the vacuum. It looks good too. Nicely done. PS: I do some floor drills, breakfalls, bridges, etc., and it is OK, but if you wanted to use these mats for sparring, jiu jitsu, etc. I'd recommend getting 1" thick ones, for comfort and safety. For weights, though, that 1" thick will squoosh down too much and potentially cause back or neck injury if you are holding weights.
