I've used this shock collar for nearly a year and I appreciate the control of the chimes, vibrations and shock levels. My dog doesn't need uncomfortable levels to elicit wanted behaviors and the fine controls allow me to set the levels so that the vibrations or shock is just enough to get a puppy's attention. My dog loves the water and frequently walks into my pond and submerges the receiver without interrupting the functionality. The battery life is reasonable depending how much the unit is used... I charge it for a couple hours every 2 days to keep it fully charged. It's worked without fail all summer. It's one of the best controllers that I have purchased and would have no regrets. This has been a wonderful tool to help train our rather stubborn schnauzer puppy. He responds quite quickly to a reminder beep and we rarely need to use the shock feature. We have been very impressed with the durability and length that this will hold a charge over the course of a day or even two. We could have spent much more on an e collar, but for less than $50, we have really gotten our moneys worth. We cannot imagine the last six months with out this. From small to extra large dogs, this collar is effective. Especially good if you walk dogs off leash as the sound and vibrate buttons can call them back. The option to add a second dog using the same controller is helpful. All you need is a second collar. Would not hesitate to purchase again. Update The rubber tips on the electrodes fall off right away. You will be buying replacement parts all the time. While the concept is good, better items are on the market but are more expensive. Probably should have gone for the higher priced alternatives. Don’t expect to find them at Amazon. Now the collar is unable to be charged. Junk!!! ... show more

So far the collar and remote are working well! Easy to set up and adjust for the size of our dog. Generally all we need to do is use the audible sound. We use flags in our yard as well to show our dog where she can go and walk her around the perimeter. When she gets too close to the flags we’ll give her an audible reminder with a voice command and a beep from the collar. ... show more

This collar has to turn my dog around in so many ways. We where have issues training her to go outside to use the bathroom and to stay in our yard she now does it and no issues only been using this product for almost a month
