I cut the over all rating down because I expect no flaws. When I mess up I get more than stars taken away so no pity on my part. The flaw in this case was the color and yes I could be just a little critical on what I order and what I expect to get. I did order white and got black, not worth the hassle to return as they would and are willing. They don't know its mounted and I am going to keep it, because I need it now and it does stand out and look good. Real nice rack system for the money and I would buy one again if I needed another one, even knowing they might send the wrong color again, lol. I might have slapped them for the mistake but I recommend this rack and them because they sell a nice product at a very reasonable price and have fairly fast shipping. OK, for you people reading this I will add 1 more star back. Enjoy the rack

Great rack, except I had problems with the brevity and size of the instructions. They had one full page to use for instructions and they spent most of that "real estate" with big pictures of the parts, then they just had one tiny little blurry picture of how to attach it all. There was no step mentioning identification and special placement of the middle bar, and since I don't have the high-middle van, I completely overlooked the fact that two were different, and I ended up installing them mismatched in the "wrong" places. Eh ... whatever; so I'm not terribly handy. I have not bothered correcting it since I don't plan to have to adjust the center bar. Then I drove the van with loaded rack 5000 miles through some incredibly windy conditions and I hoped to god the rack wouldn't come flying off. It didn't. So it's done its job.

These ladder racks are a must have for anyone with a cargo van. They easily attach to the gutter rails on the roof with just a wrench and an allan wrench. All steel construction and well painted, these will probably outlive your van. I have them on 3 work rigs now. The last set I ordered was for a van we bought on December 20th. I figured with the holidays, the order I placed wouldn't get filled until the new year. Instead, they showed up December 26th. I installed them right away and the van will be ready for work when the crews return next week. Great product, great service.

This is what their ladder racks look like 17 month later, not to mention they are destroying my work van. Do yourself a favor and buy anything else.

I bought this rack for a 2002 E250 service van. Pretty easy to install with an extra set of hands. Seems to be sturdy. I have 3 ladders and a couple of pipes on the top for holding material. Seems to be holding up just fine after about six months. Word of caution. They do rust if they are scratched. I drilled them out to add braces for the piping. So I silicone holes that I drilled so it would not rust

You get what you pay for. It was cheap. Thought I would try it. Went together well. Seems sturdy. Well day 10 of being on my van and it is already bleeding rust all over my roof. Rust stains coming out the tubes. The few scratches that a ladder will make on it already rusty looking. The welds are all already rusting. Returning this one to amazon. Maybe someone could try spraying it with bedliner spay before installing. My van is almost brand new and this just is not acceptable.

Difficult to install to the rain gutter of the van. Could use some longer hardware to make that easier. In addition painted parts started rusting after the first day. Everything from where the little set screws are to parts that don't even move such as the hooks on the sides. They do seem to be sturdy and since they are already installed I'm not taking them down to send them back.
