  • a tune a day series books are the best study books out there.
Format: Paperback
I've been using the a tune a day violin & cello series books for all of my starting violin & cello students since 1984. They have proven to be the very best starter books for teaching the proper way to play the instrument and teach them music theory at the same time.

  • Glad I found it
Format: Paperback
This is the same book I learned out of almost 30 years ago. I'm glad I was able to find it to get my kids started. It worked for me back then. Hopefully it will work for them! It has some familiar tunes as practice pieces at the end of the lessons.

  • Introductory
Format: Paperback
Excellent tool for homeschoolers or even just learning violin. If I am busy its excellent to just give an assignment from this book. Great introductory. Traveling for work I take my youngest with me often and this comes with us regularly.

Very easy to read and understand not just how to play but how to read music (and apply it to the violin) as well. ... show more
