These hinges are 14 gauge. My old ones were 18 gauge. The hinges were over 30 years and showing a lot of wear. A couple were bent and one was cracked. Accident waiting to happen. These hinges are galvanized to prevent rust and corrosion. Overall I'm satisfied with the quality of the product.

    • There are two types of #1 hinges, yours was the wrong type
The hinges on my gargage are also a #1 but there are two types of #1 and your package of #1 did not work on my garage, not the fault of you but of my garage being of the older type

    • Cheap but good
The hinges do the job on a lightweight, un-insulated aluminum garage door. The screws are good for something but they are wrong for the application. Had to buy garage door screws separately.

The product is very good and works well. Only got one lot sent , out of two ordered. Cannot remember if we received a credit.

    • They were ok.
The bolts were useless. When a big bolt comes out they give you a small replacement. Temporary fix but it did fix. So for the price they were ok.

    • Hinges are good, but screws are worthless
Screws included are a lot smaller than original ones and basically goes through the hinges holes and do not engage in doors. Maybe the sent the wrong ones, but what the sent are worthless for attaching the door hinges to a garage door.

    • All in one kit for dealing with busted hinges
New to garage door fixing, was worried a bought the wrong thing but this has all the different sized hinges needed.

    • Assembly hardware could be better.
The hinges themselves seem sufficient but the mounting bolts are under sized in my opinion. I reused the old bolts from the hinges I replaced and bought the roller wheels separately. I would give it a better rating if the mounting bolts were of better size.
