I purchased this wire to make plant antennas. It is very good for wrapping around wooden dowels. Copper is very pliable very easy to work with. We’ll see how much my plants like it will purchase again.

I like this copper wire so much that I have now purchased the same wire in gold color and silver color in the thicker gauges, including 16. I have used them in wire jewelry making exclusively since purchase. The finish is quite durable, and even after some manipulation, I do not see the copper core come through often at all even on the ends. Can’t see any reason to try any other wire or to go back to any other product as this brand makes quality wire in all of the frequently used sizes and colors. It’s flexible enough for use in jewelry making even in 16 gauge. My hand strength is quite limited so this is the first 16 gauge I have found that I’m able to use often and I have been doing this for over 12 years. I find I can happily recommend this wire to other jewelry makers. ... show more
