Needed acoustic panels when I streamed due to a large amount of my voice echoing and these do a wonderful job absorbing sound. I instantly noticed less of my voice bouncing off the walls with these foam pads on! These pads aren’t meant to deafen a room by the way so if that’s what you’re looking for then this is NOT the product. These are meant for reducing the amount of echo/reverb in a room for recording purposes. The black and white checkered colors are by far the best for aesthetics. I wish the product also included adhesive to help put these on. I am currently using the Gorilla Glue Double Sided Tape to hold these on the wall and it’s by far the best tape to use without chipping away at the wall paint. I suggest putting the tape on all 4 sides of the foam to keep it up as they are prone to falling off when not attached properly. These foam panels are also on the thinner side so don’t expect them to be super fluffy and thick. Overall, they’ve been on my wall for the past few months without any issues and I really enjoy the aesthetic and it’s versatility with keeping the echo/reverb in my room to a minimum!

These stick great and help muffle sound! I have a little closet nook and the doors are practically made of cardboard. I adhered these to them to help keep my little nook quiet! It also keeps sounds in. Only issue I’ve had is that I’m highly sensitive to VOC’s in the way some people are sensitive to red 40 and will act and feel absolutely insane. I didn’t let these sit outside long enough before putting them up, so I was basically sitting in a hotbox of VOC, lol. So apart from the temporary psychological impairment, these are great! And I’m going to take the door off and let it sit outside for a while since I don’t have an air purifier and these are already adhered. Will definitely repurchase if I need to cover more area!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: it did not come with the adhesive I was insured it would arrive with therefore I have no way to attach this to my wall. I never leave bad reviews, but I feel like I completely wasted my money.

Decent at absorbing sound. Not for blocking sound but it does break up the sound in an echoey room. They look pretty cool to. Good quality. The thickness is only an inch so not very thick. The adhesive quality is unknown to me since I didn’t get the ones with the adhesive. Overall I think the value for the money is good. I’d probably get thicker ones though next time.
