I really love this controller. It's only my second 8bitdo one, that first being more in the ps2 style which I also liked. This one is more comfy in my hand, the buttons and sticks feel a tad more responsive, and also it's cuter. The battery life seems really good too. I literally only bought this so I could play Infinity Nikki on PC. It's an easy plug-and-play controller with no setup needed and it runs perfectly while I play my game. Controller feels nice to hold and looks good to display. Charging is convenient and the back buttons are a nice addition for the price point. Works flawlessly with my Streamdeck. Really made for smaller hands though.

    • NIce, but didn't work for my Mac very well
At first, this controller did not work at all on my Mac. Then I updated the drivers and it did begin working, but only with a wired connection. Since I really wanted a wireless connection, I did return this and purchased the Bluetooth variant, which works so well and I have zero connectivity issues. I love the way this controller charges on a doc - it is very convenient and looks sleek. Overall, this is a nice and cute controller and feels very well built. I love the product support with continued updating of drivers. However, this, though it is made for Mac, does not support full functionality in my experience and the Bluetooth variant works much better in that case. I do recommend this controller for some and for others the Bluetooth may do you better. I have yet to try it with the switch, but I look forward to trying that out next, now that I have it working on the platform I most needed. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I've bought a controller from this company before, and these controllers are made very well! It feels really comfortable in my hand. I wanted an Xbox controller that connected to my pc easily and has a default configuration set up for most games, this one that and some! I love the charging station that also holds the Bluetooth plug in, which makes the connection way easier. And it looks really cute on my desk! 10/10 ... show more

    • RUINED CHRISTMAS FOR MY 8 YEAR OLD - DOES NOT WORK ON IPAD!
This is an awful company that makes things up with false advertisement. This controller does not work in iPads. It will not connect. There is no Bluetooth pairing capabilities. Instead it uses an old school USB connector that can not connect to brand new Macbooks, iPads, or any Apple device. Sucks! My daughter really wanted this to work. Another beautiful controller from 8bitdo that works right out of the box. I'm running Batocera 35 on a micro PC and the latest version of Retropie on various Pis and each time the controller was detected in both cases. Using this in USB mode connects with no problem. It did take a little while for both the Pi and the PC to see the controller. But after a few tries, it finally took and mapped. I'm running this in D-input mode and it's detected every time. No lag and no ghost inputs. The controller feels great, has weight, and a rumble feature. Highly recommended and would buy again! ... show more

    • It’s got JUICE
Normally I keep my gaming sessions fairly short so I wasn’t terribly worried about things like battery life and the like, I figured I wouldn’t run into that at all. Well this past weekend I went on a bit of a gaming binge, the summer sales for games and wanting to beat the heat indoors caught up to me. I wound up playing way more than typical. This thing kept on chugging along without so much as a mild hiccup or stutter for 12 hours off it’s charging stand. My hands were comfortable the whole time, my wrists and fingers didn’t feel any strain after holding it. It’s lightweight and natural to hold, it’s got power for hours and hours, and the pressure of the buttons is just perfect. I also really like how I can feel the distinct dip between the back bumper buttons and the triggers, on some controllers they’re difficult to feel apart and I wind up fumbling occasionally, especially when I’m tired.
