I usually buy a different brand of these in my local grocery store for my keto snacks. To practice social distancing, I took to social media to find something similar. I ordered one bag of these and thought that they were tasty, so for my second order I purchased three bags. One bag came with 12 sticks and the other two bags came with 10 sticks. It's enough of a deficit in the bag that makes you wonder if someone has opened the bag, took sticks out and resealed it. I would recommend stating on the package how many sticks you're getting per bag. Hell I may have gotten 10 sticks with my first order but was supposed to get 12. It's simply not consistent.

Update: loved the first bag so much I ordered 3 more. One of the 3 bags came opened and some sticks were missing WHICH IS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. However the other 2 bags seemed OK so I'm keeping those. Original review: Excellent snack, not too salty, and the package received was fresh, with expiration date 6 months from today. If you're on keto this is a prime candidate for low carb snacking.

Apparently you will love them or hate them. Personally, I really like them. Found this product years ago when doing Atkins and trying to find snacky things. I like the Turkey Sticks. The flavor is best when cold for whatever reason. Great no carb snack. I’ll have two sticks with a stick of cheese and that satisfies me. This package is for 6oz and not the 8oz you get in the grocery store. But ounce for ounce these are priced better than the store. I also suffer from Migraines and do not find that the nitrates affect me. I have purchased several times from Amazon (thanks subscribe & save) and have never had a bad package as other reviewers have mentioned. Always fresh and package I received today expires December 2020.

I purchased these as a gift for my husband who is on a low sodium diet. The nutrition panel info here on Amazon says the sodium is 140 per stick. But when they arrived the nutrition panel on the actual product says they are 320 mg of sodium for 2 sticks. That means each stick is 160 not 140. Not a huge difference but every little bit counts when you're dealing with heart disease.

I ordered a total of 3 packages. Two packages came on Monday. I open it to eat a snack stick and immediately spit it out. It taste like dog food. I gave everyone in my family a snack stick to try to make sure it’s not my taste buds. They all say it’s bad. So we threw one package away. The other package hasn’t been opened (see photos). I received my third package today (Wednesday). I instantly saw a difference in the color. This 3rd package looks fresh. I open it and have my son try it and it’s good. I then try it, it is good. So the first two packages I received are rotten and shouldn’t even be fed to dogs. I included a picture to compare the good ones and the bad ones. Notice the difference? I’ll leave a great review for my 3rd package.

I've been purchasing these for years; they used to be a favorite snack treat for my kids. The quality has changed in recent months. Like several other reviewers, we had an apparently sealed and in-date bag develop mold on the ends of the sticks. The meat sticks have become tougher and drier, as if they have more meat "filler" or lower quality meat. Bags purchased through Amazon reliably have fewer than 12 sticks, which is also a change. I regret that I may have sent something gross to others as a stocking stuffer gift from Wisconsin.
