If you’re tired of the piddly airflow, this will not disappoint. On low it will blow the dish towel in your kitchen around, I seriously think you’ll use the other two speeds unless you’re trying to dry a wet floor or something. The only drawback is that it is a bit louder than my other room fans. It has a low pitched droan I noticed from the motor at any speed even when first starting up. However, my wife absolutely loves this thing. It’s all metal and very sturdy, save the motor casing, that’s a plastic shroud. A bit pricier than some but you get what you pay for in the end. It’s cheaper than running the AC or you can run the AC at a higher set point and save on the power bill

Awesome purchase, I put this in my dog kennel for my pups and it lowered the temps and humidity and the breeze made them more comfortable. The kennel is the size of a 2 car garage and even on low the breeze is strong on the opposite side.

Updated review (6/16/24) Judging by the size of the motor, I was expecting this thing to create a wind tunnel! Not quite, but it does have some serious punch to it and even on its low setting you're going to need to worry about things being blown away. On its high setting, you'll need to worry about doors being blown shut. As something labeled as industrial, this thing is a strange mixture of some heavy duty stuff and some questionable designs and really cheap elements. The cord, which is kinda short (and it tends to curl up), looks like it could withstand an atom bomb. Most of the fan is metal and its base is screwed together, so it has a little heft to it too, but somehow it doesn't add up to something that seems truly durable. In fact, this feels like one of the most delicate fans I've ever owned. Any time I move it, I'm worried the metal at the base might bend or the cage might slip off. There is a tiny, tiny screw to keep the cage closed, but I lost it quick. My fault, obviously, but it's not like I would have trusted that little thing anyway and it's a real hassle to screw it in too. Screw or no screw, it feels like a noticeably cheap fan cage that doesn't seem fit for a fan of this price. On top of that, it's so thin that anything stronger than a light touch is going to cause the cage to smack the blades and because the cage is so thin, you can easily nick your fingers on them. Don't touch the fan at all while it's on. That said, for a while I was compelled to touch it because for over a week, the cage would rattle noisily, almost enough to make me want to return it. I don't know how or why, but then the rattle disappeared completely, which was a blessing, but also a disappointment that it was there to begin with. Finally, my fan also came shoddily put together, or I assume it was, as it would be a catastrophic design flaw otherwise. The fan motor is so large and heavy, and the bolt that controls the up and down movement a little too loose, that the fan would slowly flop back and point to the sky within a few minutes. I had to use a wrench to tighten that bolt, which did fix the problem, but I need stress there is no indication anywhere that this should even be attempted. Now with all that said, and considering I encountered none of these issues whatsoever with a much cheaper Lasko fan, the more I think of this fan, the more I think that unless really need that power, it's a bit of a hard sell. If you do need or want that power, and you can put it out of the way where people aren't going to bump into it, then this does the job admirably. A good strong gust of air during a super hot summer, but it can also feel like a liability not worth the cost.
