Amazon for the win! I discovered a wheel bearing issue on my Hyundai minivan and ordered the replacement parts. Watching a YouTube video, I saw this tool and how to use it. By this point, I had the vehicle stripped down and ready to change out the parts but the hubs were firmly stuck. After seeing the video, I looked on Amazon for the tool and found one which would arrive in time for me to work on my vehicle at the weekend. Amazon delivered on time and I was able to easily fit the tool to my vehicle. The manufacturer included a wide range of nuts to suit just about any vehicle, including mine. Took just a couple minutes to fit to the hub and we were off to the races. About 5 strikes on the tool with an 8lb sledgehammer got the first hub removed. It was a similar pattern on the passenger side too. This is a case of where the tool actually does exactly what it is intended to do with no drama. The hubs were firmly stuck in the suspension knuckle and I have no idea how I would have removed them as easily without this tool. 5 stars for sure. It didn't bend or deform from being struck and for the money, this was an easy buy. Top tips: before you even start, liberally dose every, nut, bolt and connection with Kroil or a similar penetrant. It will make everything a LOT easier. Jack up your suspension and put something like an axle stand under it, then let it down. I used 8" concrete blocks and a 2x6 on top to support the suspension. This takes any bounce out of the suspension and makes the tool a lot more effective. Understand that once you have the hub out of the knuckle, you will still have to get the hub off the CV joint. You'll need a 3 legged puller to do this so plan ahead.

I never thought a Subaru Hub would be so difficult to remove, and I've removed a lot of hubs. This tool was a life saver! I have a 10 ton clamp that only pulled out the bearing along with the wheel bolts, but this tool finally broke the rust and let me finish the job with no problem, while having the hub barely on since the bearing came apart. It is easy to install and is well made, very durable and a hefty weight. I don't know what I would have done without it. comes with lots of nuts for different cars.

I don’t leave a lot of reviews, but I have to on this tool. Worth every penny. Popped out the rear wheel bearings on my 2014 Crosstrek. It took about three to five wacks with a dead blow hammer. Done!!!

This is a nice heavy tool and perfect for hubs. That being said the washers and hardware do not work. They were the correct size for a 2016 Subaru wrx thread pattern but the nuts kept coming loose or the washers were not big enough even stacked that they would blast through the hub holes. I blasted the studs out with an air hammer and used left over suspension hardware (nut and bolt) to make sure this locks on. My coworkers and I took turns giving this a wack for an hour as if we were at a carnival. Finally after the use of oxyacetylene, this tool with a 6lb sledge, and a snap on air hammer on the hub ears the bearing finally lost the battle and came out. Works as it is designed, but don’t buy this thinking it is the end all be all. Be safe out there but every job is different. No fault in the tool in any way besides the hardware, but this is kind of part of the job anyways.

Before this tool came into my life, prior to replacing a bearing I had to declare war on my car. I brought out the full arensenal of bearing busting weapons: torch, sledgehammer, penetrating fluid, crow bar. The car would declare glorious victory over me. I would drive in defeat, the bearing roaring away, mocking me for being defeatrd. Once this tool entered my arensenal, my life was changed. No longer must I declare war against a rust welded bearing, for the bearing shivers at the sight of this tool, practically popping itself out. I grab my impact gun, secure the supplied bolts to the hub, and strike with furious blows from my small sledgehammer. After a few strikes the bearing is freed from its rusty prison. Every bearing shivers at the sight of this tool. I am now the envy of my friends for no bearing stands a chance. Axel or not, they come out with just a few hits. Bearings everywhere should be warned of this tools might. Very easy to use, bolts on with supplied nuts (comes with a ton of different sizes) and washers to your hubs studs. Seems extremely robust and after three replacements so far it will probably last my entire life. The bearing buster 3000 is the ultimate tool for your box.

It still took a lot of effort to get the hub off but this tool did the trick. I also had to use penetrating oil, heat and the the biggest help was to support the hub bracket underneath with a jack and block so that the impact doesn't get absorbed by the joints. Then it broke loose!
