Ok so I had originally bought an Waykar 80 pt unit in which there customer service never even called or attempted to contact me about the problems I had with the unit so I returned the unit and bought this unit. I have an 1232sqf basement with essentially 4 rooms and I have musical instruments and high end optical componants/telescopes that I have to keep the humidity down to a manageable level. The 80pt unit ran constantly 24/7 on the lowest setting for a week and couldn’t get the humidity level down where I needed it to be. This unit within 2hrs was able to get my humidity down to where I needed it and then shut itself off and would cycle on and off as needed the way it was suppose to do. In fact after an 8hr period I needed to actually turn up the humidity level because it was getting the humidity down to low so this is exactly what the DR ordered! Also this unit has over a 2gal capacity tank which is really nice! Absolutly an outstanding unit!

You may read my title and think, say what? Let me explain ... This unit is somewhat quieter than my older dehumidifier in a somewhat smaller package. It has the typical bells and whistles of other dehumidifiers I've owned. The controls are easy to understand as long as you read the manual once. This unit does not have wifi controls or monitoring, but I don't care about that. My only beef about the design is that the air intake is on the backside of the unit so the front is nice and pretty. The problem with that is the manual suggests a minimum of 18 inches clearance from the back of the wall and sides. So if you want to use this dehumidifier in the main part of your home you can't place it inconspicuously near a wall or next to other furniture. Other than that, it's a nice unit, and hopefully will last several years.

I just bought this a couple of weeks ago for our basement. We don’t have water issues but it does get humid down there. It has been working well. At first I just let it fill the reservoir. The reservoir is smaller than the humidifier it replaced so I hooked up the hose to our floor drain instead. So far so good.

I dont usually write reviews, But in this case, I had too. My 80 pint, 5000 sqft Dehumidifier Arrived on time. I unboxed the unit and waited 24 Hours according to the manufacturer, Fehom. I plugged the unit in and the power light came on. I ran the tubing from the unit to my condensate pump tank. then ran tubing from pump to my sump pump pit. I then turned the Dehumidifier and the Digital display read 80%. I left fan on low speed and the humidity at 40%, I let the unit run for 24 hours. The condenser shut down at 35% and the fan kept running. AT this point I called Fehom and talked to KAREN in customer service. I asked to check that I had a 2 year warrenty and also asked about the continuous fan operation after compresser has stopped. After She asked for proper documentation of unit, she verified my 2 year warranty. she also verifed for me the fan running continuous after compressor shutdown. Im very happy, for both choosing the right company and having someone, KAREN, helping a customer out, great customer service. After i registed this unit i receiver a letter of submission. 3 days later I bought a second Dehumidifier because i have a split basement. After doing the same. Second unit is doing fine as. I registered this one also and received my second letter of submission. Im very happy i picked this company. Karen was very happy to assist me. Can I give negative stars? So, bought this on Feb 5, 2024. It froze up in July. Fine, its under warranty so contacted the manufacturer for a replacement because it stopped "dehumidifying." Customer service asked about what was happening. So the coils are freezing up and its blowing warm air. I was told to DISASSEMBLE it to check for a loose connection or something and that there was a video to show how to do/fix it. In other words, THEY TOLD ME TO FIX IT MYSELF. Will be texting them later to clarify that they can replace it. I'll update this later with a resolution.

I received the unit (120 pint). It worked at dehumidifying me basement, however the humidistat was not working properly. It would read between 80 to 95%. I contacted the manufacturer. They were helpful. After several emails back and forth. I decided to return the unit for a new one. I contacted Amazon and two days later I had a new unit. It works amazingly. Far better than any dehumidifier I'd had before.

fast delivery , good value , easy to use, works well, energy efficient, has drain hose, auto shut off, large holding tank, I have mine sitting on 2 wood blocks in the bathtub draining in there, I may try to install a drain line out through the wall somewhere so I don't have to put that water into my septic tank. I have not noticed any increase of electricity cost, I was putting out 6 damp-rid and not removing 10% of the moisture that this unit does, been using for 4 years very happy, makes the house cooler even with ac off. and improves the efficiency of the ac when it is on.AS always watch a DIY video before you buy or install unless you are an expert and know what you are buying or how your installing, Enjoy
