It came without damage and the on time. It had a weird rubber wood smell when you first open it, but other than that, nothing crazy. The only thing I had to do was anchor it to the wall, it didn't come with hardware, so luckily I had some. Setting up the code was easy enough, you just have to follow the diagram and know that the settings button is on the inside of the door. Everything fit just fine and it's not flimsy.

The safe itself is decent. It's not particularly heavy steel, and won't keep out a determined burglar, but it's fine for the casual thief, kids, or visitors. The electronics and lock compartment inside the door sticks into the interior space by about two inches. The handgun compartments on the door are a nice touch, but take up more of the interior space. If you have more than one gun with a scope you'll have trouble fitting everything inside, especially if you use the handgun pockets on the doors. It's big enough for full-sized rifles. I have a Ruger 10/22 with a scope, a Mossberg shotgun, and a 308 with a scope and everything fits with a little arranging. I'd have given it four stars, but the vendor is NOT responsive to questions! My safe came without a manual, and upon requesting one from Zevemomo, they asked for a copy of my sales invoice. I sent that to them, and never received any further response. It's not intuitively obvious how to set the combination, but there's a video for a similar KAER brand safe that uses the same mechanism. The short version: Open the door with the key. Install the batteries (4 AAs) on the inside compartment. Press and hold the reset button for about five seconds until it beeps. This resets to the factory settings. The default password is #123456#, so make sure you change it. Press the reset button briefly to put it into programming mode. Press #, then the new password, then # again. The new password can be from 4-12 digits. There will be beep. Wait for the center ring light to go off. Presto! You just set the password. When entering the password, start and end with the # key. There is also a backup battery pack with a USB-C connector on it that take 4 AA batteries. This is in case you do not have the key and the batteries are dead. The USB-C connector is on the bottom of the lock panel, in the 6 o'clock position. Probably obviously, do not store the safe key or battery backup in the safe! Lastly, there is an alarm if the wrong password is entered. It's not very loud, but it will alert someone nearby that the safe is being tampered with. The alarm will shut off by itself after about a minute.

The safe over all is a solid small safe if you have a few things that need to be stored but if any of your guns have optics they really don’t fit this safe hold 3 guns well anything over that you have to finagle them in there. Also the door sits inside the safe not in the frame so it will hit anything that’s close to the door. If you have a few small guns this is a good option.
