I was pleasantly surprised with this powerful fan. PROS: the fan does an excellent job of cooling the room. It’s attractive, has a very nice remote control with lots of options. The temperature of the light can be warm to very blue bright light. It also has a dimmer for the light. I’ve never seen this before but as long as the fan is stopped, there’s a button on the actual remote to easily reverse the direction of the fan. We chose counterclockwise for the summer months. It was also impressive how well they packaged the fan in the box with very dense Styrofoam. Cons: remote control is a little complicated with all the options. It’s in our guest room and I think our guests will be a little confused at first about all the buttons. No other cons. Note: Our ceiling is very high and so we had to buy an additional down rod pole to be 18 inches. It’s very impressive that the fan does not wobble one bit with the extended downrod. The remote control came with a nice holder to screw on the wall, but I chose to use “command strips” to adhere the remote holder to the wall instead. In summary, I am quite pleased and will order another one. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This fan is awesome. I have a 17 foot ceiling so I hired professional electricians to install it. It’s very powerful and quiet. I can have the hot air from the fireplace blow down on us or open all the windows in the house and create a whole house fan effect with the reverse mode. The light is very bright and lights up the whole house on dark winter evenings. It looks very modern and fills out my large ceiling nicely. The remote is a little strange but it doesn’t bother us.
