Virtually silent at low speeds. At higher speeds the only sound you hear is the wind. It is easy to change the light temperature and intensity. I accidentally broke the light and they sent me a new one right away for free. HOWEVER, as at least two other reviewers noted, when you turn off the light with the remote, it continues to glow. You have to turn it off with the light switch to turn it off completely. I contacted customer support, but have not received a useful response. Also, this fan is designed to install in a wood or concrete ceiling. The mounting bracket does not fit a standard electrical box! ... show more

    • It’s a keeper!
After several purchased and returned fans, this one I kept. I bought 3 and they all work great, very quiet, sturdy, look nice - I bought it for the wood grain and color to match my floor and looks nice, the darker side looks a bit cheap. Light works fine not super bright but good with other lights in a bedroom, has 3 shades of white - cold, warm, natural. The fan is also not a full 52” compared to other fans bought in the store this one has small fan blades but so did the others I bought and returned. Better to go up a size or 2 if buying on Amazon. I do like that it has a caddy for the remote to hang up on the wall so it doesn’t get lost or mixed up w other remotes or it won’t work. This, Dan blade color and reviews are why I chose it. It does not flush mount to the ceiling like I expected it comes with 2 Down rods but still short enough for my 8’ ceiling upstairs. Overall very pleased for the price. ... show more

    • BEWARE JUNK, FIRE DANGER, WILL QUIT WORKING.
Waited too long to install bought Dec 31, Return window closed Jan 31. Was a gift for my mom, just installed it almost 3 weeks ago. Light is bright if use 5000K but warm lights are too amber in color. Was excited about being affordable, now i know why, any thjng too food to be true ALWAYS IS. Right away, wobbles horribly, on every speed, worse in reverse, even after using all the balancing weights. The cheap low quality metal blade mounts are not even in shape from one another. If you try to lights bend it, LIKE THEY RECOMMEND IN THE INSTRUCTIONS, IT WILL FAIL! ALMOST SNAPPED, I leave it alone, and settle with a bad wobble on every speed 1 was the least ridiculous looking so that's all you get out of 5 more. FORGET ABOUT USING REVERSE, they are the worst with the wobble and you can't correct it. Remote falls out of WILL mount EVERY TIME YOU PUT IT IN, unless you slide it in gently pull bottom. Out towards you and slowly let go. Battery cover pops off all the time especially if you drop it even at 2 feet onto plush bedroom carpet. Now for the really good stuff. ITS REALLY HORRIBLE. FAN STOPS all the time most times wont start no matter what you do. Even with Remote it's like there is no signal. I smelled some burning plastic or wires, turned of light switch dropped ceiling cover and the remote sensor body wad super hot, pulled it out and two wires were un soldered, hanging from plastic box. Opened ot up there was three Altogether that melted from over heating, and controller board had burn spots on. It. So needles to say used fan for little over 2 weeks and it in my kitchen trash to go out tomorrow morning. I was originally going to return this right after I got it and I was going to spend the 30 extra dollars to get a hunter fan and then I decided with the heck let's give it a try by the hunter fan don't waste your money on this garbage you will have your house burned down and they won't do nothing about it ... show more
