My parents use this dehumidifier for the basement, and it works great. It pulls a lot of moisture out of the air and makes the space much more comfortable. The gravity drain hose is very convenient — no need to worry about emptying a bucket all the time. It’s not too heavy and easy to move around with the handles. The control panel is simple, and I can easily set the humidity level or use the timer. I also like that it’s Energy Star certified, so it’s efficient and doesn’t increase the electricity bill. The construction looks solid and durable, and it runs quietly in the background. Perfect size for a basement or crawl space. IMO reliable, efficient, and easy to use.

I had a serious issue in my basement with water intrusion. 76 year old homes will do that. The humidity was around 65-69%. This commercial-grade dehumidifier works and doesn't skip a beat. It takes around 50 bucks of electricity every month, but man I notice a HUGE difference in air quality in my whole home. I maintain a stable 40-49% humidity now and just rest assured knowing that I won't have water issues in my house. For the price point of $350~, it's a reasonable long-term investment.

We had a 15 year old Frigidaire dehumidifier that this is replacing. This works so much better. Our basement is about 1000sqft, and pretty divided up. It’s “dry” for the most part, but needs some help staying out of the musty zone, as about any basement. This has a much more realistic humidity sensor in it that probably does more smoothing than our old one did. This doesn’t drop by 5-10% a few minutes after starting. I have noticed that it seems to overshoot the target a bit before it turns off, but it seems to serve the purpose of running for a longer time instead of short cycling. This is a good thing. The drain works really well, and the included hose is light weight and flexible. This is much appreciated over most units that don’t come with anything, forcing you to run to the hardware store and find something that works. There aren’t any fittings to screw on, as it’s a nice pinch clip. This specific one doesn’t have a water pump, so the drain needs to gravity feed. I personally wanted it this way, so a positive for me. This unit is also way more efficient than our old one. It pulls 280W, where our old one was over 700W. I’m super happy with this dehumidifier. Just please make sure you set it upright and leave it in place at least a day before turning it on to let the compressor oils settle from shipping.

After having several cheaper dehumidifiers fail over the past few years, I decided to pick up a commercial dehumidifier. The difference in build quality was immediately obvious, from the metal construction to the filter to thoughtful accents like the carrying handles on top and fittings to spool the cable. Thus far, it has worked exceptionally well in our basement, reducing the humidity quickly from our space, while still being relatively quiet. Very pleased with our purchase.

This is the best dehumidifier I've found for my crawlspace. On hot, humid days, the standard dehumidifiers you can get at the big stores always struggle. This one works great. After close to a year of use, I had an issue and had to contact customer service. Quick response times and clear communication to diagnose and take care of the problem. Very satisified!

I purchased this dehumidifier several weeks ago and it has worked fine. I also purchased the remote control which allows me to control the unit without going into my crawlspace. Both units seem to be well made. They were well packaged and easy to set up. The user manuals are a bit confusing, probably due to author(s) that do not use English as their primary language.

Just got this set up in my basement and I’m already noticing a difference in the air quality and moisture level. My basement has always been very damp, so I needed something built for crawl spaces/basements and this seems to be doing the job well so far. It’s also quieter than I expected, which was a nice surprise. I have mine draining directly to my pump and the setup was pretty straightforward. Obviously I can’t speak on long-term durability yet, but first impressions are very positive and it already feels worth the purchase.
