My parents use this dehumidifier for the basement, and it works great. It pulls a lot of moisture out of the air and makes the space much more comfortable. The gravity drain hose is very convenient — no need to worry about emptying a bucket all the time. It’s not too heavy and easy to move around with the handles. I have used other brands for last 10 years for my basement. If I am lucky, it lasted 2 years and then broke. I have been using Moiswell for 2 months now and it is running great. I have researched a lot and I feel so lucky to find this industrial dehumidifier. The model I got is the perfect size for my basement. It is not noisy at all and it keeps the moisture level accurately. It matches with my moisture reader in the room. I am also happy that Moiswell gives 3 years and 5 years guarantee depending what service it is needed. I am very satisfied so far!

This dehumidifier is the real deal. I used it to replace a consumer grade stand-up unit that was almost useless for my large basement, despite being used in "basement mode." This commercial grade Moisewell unit has no "modes." Set the desired humidity level and stand back as it does the job the only way it knows how to do it. This model is technically a bit undersized for my basement, but that doesn't prevent it from working, it just means I have to listen to it a bit more often than I would like. If it senses a humidity level within 3 percent of the set point, it is kicking on. I actually think the humidity sensor is overly sensitive, at least in my unit. When the setpoint is 50 percent and the reported humidity on the screen is 46 percent (matching a reading on a hygrometer on the other side of the basement) then the dehumidifier's reading will suddenly jump to 51 percent and it will turn on, keeping the humidity in the 40s. This overwhelming performance is great except when I need the basement to be quiet for a phone call, so I have to manually turn the dehumidifier off. The automatic pump itself is actually relatively quiet, and runs regularly, keeping the humidifier generally dry, unlike those other dehumidifiers that only pump out enough to prevent a bucket overflow.

I have only had it a few days but I am thrilled with it so far. It is very easy to move due to the very sturdy handles attached at the top. Set up is straightforward. Bought it to ensure humidity levels in my crawl space (about 900 sf) stayed moderate to protect it from damage. The humidity in the crawl space was 73% when I got it. I set the machine to 55% and the levels dropped to that within hours. I use the pump and have it run to a bucket for now so I can see that it is working. I will probably end up getting the additional insurance. The company that inspected my crawlspace was going to charge me thousands for something similar! So grateful to get such an effective product for such a reasonable price!

Very pleased with the quality and efficiency of this dehumidifier. We purchased this for our small camper as we live in the PNW and last year with just moisture removers, we ended up with lots of mold in the camper. Installation was simple and it's been running great. It might be a little more power than we needed for the camper, but we're pleased to have solved the moisture/mold issue.

Excellent product. The unit is industrial strength and it feels and performs that way. Very compact which is great for small spaces. And it does a fantastic job drying out my basement in the moist summer months. The customer support was also top notch— I purchased a first unit, which arrived at my house with a defect from a crack during shipping. After I contacted the company about the issue, they sent a brand new unit.

Has worked non-stop for several months without any problems. Quiet enough for use in a basement, crawlspace, or garage. Reduces moisture as long as you use it in the size space in the specs. Controls are clear without looking at the instructions and buttons work well. I wish it had a threaded drain to allow for directly attaching pipe, but the supplied hose attaches fine.
