Think of this as a large smartphone not tied to your cell phone company. Perfect for reading a book, or other simple tasks. The larger screen makes it easy to read. It is beneficial if you want something bigger than your smartphone but smaller than a bigger tablet. Do not expect the best sound quality. Also, some modern apps may not work correctly. The device uses Google's feature to sync up with an existing Android device like your phone. There was a limitation of the software that is good to know about. If you allow it to install all your apps you may find that it never finishes. It looks to me as though the device gets overwhelmed. I recommend only installing your most important apps and then manually adding the rest of them. Still for the price, this is a wonderful little device.

To be perfectly honest, this 7 inch tablet is not the most amazing one you'll ever use, but I still love it just the same. I wanted a tablet that I didn't really care much about, so that I could take it with me to the beach, or use it outside on my balcony. It runs Android go, which is a simplified version of Android for devices that don't have tremendous processing power. That tells you a lot of what you need to know about this particular tablet, because it's a pretty basic device. For me that's absolutely fine, because all I wanted it for is web surfing, watching videos on YouTube or Netflix, and checking certain apps that I like to look at from time to time, like certain social media, Amazon, eBay, and other such simple apps. For having minimal processing power, I actually found it to be fairly responsive. The touch screen works well, and the quality of the screen is what it says it is. Obviously, it doesn't compare to my other larger Samsung tablet, but I didn't expect it to. Here's all you need to know really. It costs $34 at the time of this review, and for that price, it's worth it all day long. Keep in mind, don't buy this tablet if you're trying to do intensive gaming, or run high processing power types of apps. If all you want to do is surf the web, and watch videos online, this will absolutely do just fine. I will note that I noticed a bit of stuttering in the video playback on Instagram, and Facebook in particular, but after changing networks, and increasing the ram settings to four gigs in the settings, it improved. I have range extenders in my house, so when I changed networks to one that was closer to me at the time, it seemed to help a lot. Interestingly, YouTube and Netflix played perfectly fine. Again, you have to keep in mind what the price of this tablet is, and look at it through that lens. It's a very basic device that runs Android go. It'll play videos, allow you to surf the Internet, and give you the ability to play certain games that are not terribly hardware dependent. If I want to do more complicated tasks, I have devices for that. This is a knock around tablet that if something were to happen to, it's not the end of the world. For the things that I want it to do, it accomplishes those tasks admirably. So, for the money, it's amazing value. If you temper your expectations, and need it for basic tasks, I think you'll be plenty pleased. I know I am, so from that perspective I would absolutely recommend it.

This tablet is pretty impressive for the price. It is not an amazing tablet, but by far is not the worst I have used. So far I have not tried to do anything massively intense on it, nor tried highly demanding games, but for the purposes of watching movies and shows in bed while I let my phone charge, this has been great.
