MUST READ BEFORE PURCHASE – PLEASE CONFIRM BEFORE ORDERING! Dear Customer, thank you for choosing our universal double-DIN car stereo. To ensure the best fit and trouble-free installation, please confirm the two key points below before placing your order. Doing so will help you save both time and cost! This stereo follows the standard double-DIN specification (Size: 6.97" L × 3.93" H × 3.03" D). Before ordering, remove your factory radio and measure the dash opening in your vehicle. As a universal head unit, this stereo requires vehicle-specific installation parts, sold separately. These items are not included with the product: Tip: You can easily find compatible parts online. Search using your car’s details, for example: If you’re unsure which parts you need, our support team is happy to assist you. Voltage Safety Notice: This unit is designed for 12V DC systems only. Please confirm your vehicle’s voltage is below 14V before installation. It is not suitable for 24V trucks or high-voltage vehicles. Additional accessories are required (not included) for proper installation: Dash Kit, Wiring Harness, and Radio Antenna Adapter specific to your vehicle. To find the correct parts, search online using: 1.Year + Car Brand + Model + Radio Wiring Harness 2.Year + Car Brand + Model + Dash Kit 3.Year + Car Brand + Model + Radio Antenna Adapter Stay safely connected on the road with improved Bluetooth functionality:Stable Wireless Connection – Fast pairing with your smartphone; Hands-Free Calling – Safer communication while driving; Clear External Microphone – Superior voice clarity with noise reduction;Perfect for Daily Commutes or Road Trips Troubleshooting: Q1: Will this car stereo fit my vehicle? A: This is a universal double-DIN car stereo, which requires a double-DIN dashboard opening for installation. If your car doesn’t have one, you’ll need a vehicle-specific installation kit (not included). You can easily find it by searching online using this format: Year + Make + Model + double DIN installation kit (e.g., “2015 Honda Civic double DIN installation kit”). For the best fit and wiring setup, we recommend consulting a professional car audio installer. Q2: Why doesn’t the stereo power on? A: Check your power connections: Yellow (B+) → Constant 12V Red (ACC) → Ignition 12V Black (GND) → Ground To test independently, connect Yellow and Red to the positive terminal of the battery, and Black to the negative terminal. Once wired correctly, the stereo should power on and off with the ignition switch. Q3: Why are my radio stations or settings not saved? A: The Yellow (B+) and Red (ACC) wires are likely reversed. Make sure Yellow is connected to a constant 12V source to retain memory when the ignition is off. This product is not suitable for 24V trucks. Q4: Why is there no sound from the speakers? A: Verify that all speaker wires are properly connected—this unit supports 2-channel output. Ensure each speaker’s positive and negative terminals match the stereo’s corresponding outputs. You can test output by connecting a standard home speaker directly to the stereo wires. Q5: Why does the stereo shut down a few seconds after powering on? A: This issue often occurs in vehicles with CAN Bus-controlled ACC circuits. You can fix it by using a CAN Bus decoder harness adapter (such as from PAC or Metra) that provides proper accessory power for your model. Alternatively, connect the Red (ACC) wire to another ignition-on fuse or power source in the fuse box. Transform your daily commute or weekend road trip with a car stereo designed for both convenience and performance. Kissound brings together functionality, comfort, and entertainment—all in one sleek interface. FM & AM Radio Enjoy crystal-clear reception across a wide range of frequencies: FM 87.5–107.9 MHz & AM 530–1710 KHz. Whether you're catching up on the news, listening to your favorite talk show, or tuning into local stations, you’ll always stay connected to what matters most—no matter where the road takes you. Steering Wheel Control Support Stay focused and drive safely with hands-free control. Adjust volume, skip tracks, or take calls without taking your hands off the wheel or your eyes off the road. This intuitive feature integrates seamlessly with most factory steering wheel control systems for effortless operation.Use the existing functions on your steering wheel (interface module sold separately. We recommend the PAC SWI-CP2). 10-Band Equalizer (EQ) Settings Customize your listening experience with advanced audio tuning. Whether you prefer bass-heavy beats, crisp vocals, or balanced acoustics, the 10-band EQ gives you complete control over how your music sounds—perfect for audiophiles and casual listeners alike. • Amazing value
Style: Volume knob + 4 physical buttons
This is an insane value. I have an ‘03 Toyota and replaced an old school double din with no cd, tape, or aux option. WHAT AN UPGRADE. Install was easy. I’d recommend ordering a scosche wire harness and install adapter so it fits right and makes wiring a breeze. I wired this thing and had it in my car in probably 30 mins. The sound quality upgrade is so much better it’s insane. I’m honestly shocked. Quality seems fine. The 2 buttons maybe seem slightly cheap but it’s touch screen so who cares. Touch screen is responsive probably better than some stock radios. Bluetooth with my phone was setup in like 10 seconds and I’ve had no issues with wireless CarPlay. I have an iPhone. The display looks great in my opinion and is customizable. I’m so happy. Wish I would’ve done this 2 years ago. I’m most impressed with the improved sound quality. I selected “rock” as a preset equalizer option. Sounds amazing with my stock speakers. So much better than the stock radio. Volume control works great and seems like good quality. The size fits a double din perfectly. This is now the oldest car I own and the only car I own that has wireless CarPlay 😂 ... show more

  • Best upgrade for an old car!
Style: Volume knob + 4 physical buttons
This unit is phenomenal! I wasn't sure what to expect for $100, but it wasn't this much! I bought this to put in a 2005 Subaru Legacy, and it is a huge improvement. What I like: 1) The volume knob. I have a much more expensive unit with more features that I installed in my 1999 Tacoma, and while I like the extra versatility, I don't like that it has soft touch volume buttons. Being able to instantly change the volume is a lovely feature. 2) The look. This is a very nice looking unit, and really improves the look of the interior. 3) The features. All the basic functions are quickly available, and easy to adjust. I would like crossover and subwoofer controls, but at this price point I don't really miss that. 4) The sound quality. I was actually surprised at how good this 21 year old car sounded with the new stereo! What I didn't like: 1) How complex it is to connect. I spent a bunch of time on the internet and poring over the included manual to figure out the connections. In the end I just cut the stock harness wire by wire, and used crimped wire connectors to hook up. Using the wiring diagrams for the radio and the stock stereo side-by-side made this possible. 2) No radio antenna wire. The wiring harness that came with the radio covered everything except the antenna, which was odd. I had to order a separate part to make the radio work. Overall, this unit is an outstanding addition to this old car! It helped tremendously with the enjoyment of the driving experience. Having access to maps and music in a nice large, easy to access screen is lovely. ... show more

  • This head unit is controlling....
Style: Volume knob + 4 physical buttons
I've had a lot of different head units over the years and decided to go with a less expensive option, losing the name brand... Got everything connected and find that this Bluetooth head unit will not disconnect from my phone. I go into my phone settings and turn off the Bluetooth and the head unit forces it back on. I select "forget device" and the head unit forces it to re-connect anyways. Once I paired my phone with the head unit and engaged Android Auto I can now not use it in any other mode except Android auto, just regular Bluetooth audio is not an option you can switch to. There is no setting on the head unit to forget the phone either. Using "Hey Google" through the head unit is a pain, she can't understand anything I'm saying and it cuts out my Gemini response. I don't want a head unit that controls my phone, I want to be able to still use my phone separately, sometimes I need to take my phone off of Bluetooth and use it for something else while in the car or while the car is running but that is not an option with this head unit. No device should be able to reconnect to my phone after I've told my phone to forget that connection device. I also have an issue with the sound quality and steering wheel controls. I have a 2005 Tahoe and had to buy a PAC RP5-GM11 interface, it's supposed to maintain Bose surround sound, factory amplifier and steering wheel controls along with OnStar and use of the microphone and speaker for OnStar and hands-free calling. Because this head unit falls under the category of "any other brand" in the PAC manual, there are no steering wheel control presets to be able to use to program the steering wheel controls. The installation manual that came with the head unit says to download an app called Pac Control Pro, but the app store says it's unavailable because it was created for a previous version of Android. Trying to program them only in the head unit also proves unfruitful, the instructions say to long press the button on the steering wheel and then select the button on the screen that corresponds to that command, I'm able to set the first button, then every other steering wheel control button also has that same function and I have not been able to figure out a way around this. In addition the speaker output is too high for the factory Bose amp and unless I spend more money to buy a line output converter, I now have to use the other wiring harness hidden inside of the dash on these tahoes which bypasses the Bose amp altogether (thankfully this hack works with no extra money, thanks GM) so now the speakers are only powered by the head unit, and the sound quality is tanked. I realize some of these issues are just the setup that I have and there may be another head unit or another way to make it sound better, but the Bluetooth issue is an absolute no-go for me. There's nothing more frustrating than me giving my phone an instruction and another device telling me I'm not allowed to do that. Sorry I pay too much money for these devices for them to boss me around. Update: I decided to factory reset the head unit in order to remove my phone as a paired device, I wanted to call support on my phone while I am making changes and adjustments to the head unit and not have them connected, now I cannot get the head unit to reconnect to my device. Guess I'll be returning it. ... show more

  • Worth the price
Style: Volume knob + 4 physical buttons
The touch screen responds quickly and has a good resolution. It connects to CarPlay within 10 seconds of start up. You can set your own EQ or use one of the preloaded ones. I didn’t hook up the backup camera but I did install the microphone . The microphone wire is pretty short so I ran it under my dash and up to where the dash and A pillar meet. The call sound quality is poor coming back through. It’s pretty flat and quiet. I have to turn the volume nearly all the way up to hear it while driving. I have asked people on the other end of the call if my voice comes through clear and they’ve said it does. I have not found a resolution to the issue of the call sound quality. Overall I do think this radio is worth the money when comparing it to the name brand ones I’ve had in the past. I feel that they could easily make the call sound better and include a different microphone that has a longer cable to route it to an ideal location. ... show more

  • Great value (but be sure to choose the 2-button model if your car's dash opening is small)
Style: Volume knob + 4 physical buttons
Great product for this price. I replaced an old Pioneer CarPlay unit in my 2012 Nissan Xterra with this one (I accidentally broke the Pioneer's screen, which rendered it pretty much unusable). I was surprised I could upgrade to wireless CarPlay at this price point. I actually like the user interface on this unit better than the Pioneer's (to be fair, it's an older Pioneer, and probably a cheap one, but then so is this). Installation was fairly straightforward, and it started right up. Once I connected my phone via Bluetooth, it starts right up in CarPlay, a few seconds after I start the car. I didn't use the back-up camera included with this unit, since I had one already installed in the car, and it works fine with this unit. I should also mention that I did have a pretty significant issue during installation. It didn't fit in the hole in the Xterra's dash! But I sent an email to Kissound's customer service (email address provided in the installation instructions), and they responded in less than an hour. They said that the 9701 model (4 physical buttons) doesn't fit the Nissan Xterra, but offered to replace it with the 9702 model (2 physical buttons), which they said would fit perfectly. The new unit arrived in 3 days, and sure enough, it is smaller, and fit right into the dash. The electrical connections were identical, so I didn't have to re-do all the wiring work I did for the first one. Major kudos to Kissound's customer service for rapid response and resolution of my problem! The Amazon page you're on is for both the 9701 model and the 9702 model. So if you have a Nissan Xterra, be sure to choose the 2 physical button model. Here are the dimensions as I measured them: - 9701 (4 buttons): 3-15/16" x 6-15/16" - 9702 (2 buttons): 3-3/4" x 6-11/16" - Nissan Xterra: 3-7/8" x 6-3/4" ... show more

  • Great Features, Outstanding Customer Support
Style: Volume knob + 4 physical buttons
I replaced my 2003 Tundra SR5 factory stereo with this unit and have been very happy with it. For the price, it offers a lot of features that you normally find on more expensive head units. My overall observations: Screen quality: The 7-inch IPS display is bright, and easy to see even during the day. The touchscreen is responsive -- there is a slight lag but it is not noticeable in the way the UI is built. Android Auto connected quickly and has been reliable, making it easy to access Google, Gemini, music, and messages. It honestly makes an old car feel new. Wiring: Installation was pretty straightforward. You'll have to find the proper wiring harness and dash kit for your vehicle, but once everything was connected, it worked exactly as expected. I used the standard Toyota Metra 70-1761 (note, I had to remove the factory amp to find these harness plugs on the car). The included backup camera was also easy to wire in and has a clear picture -- just wire behind the panel, put it through the rubber grommet below the driver's seat, zip tie underneath to the back and splice into the brake lights. Installation took roughly 2-3 hours, including the crimping, wire matching, routing, etc. Remote control: Once set up, changing tracks and adjusting volume is a fun thing to do for back passengers. It makes road trips much more convenient. Ease of use: Everything is laid out in a way that makes sense. Bluetooth pairs quickly, wireless CarPlay reconnects automatically when I start the car, and switching between radio, Bluetooth, and CarPlay is quick and intuitive. The physical volume knob is also a huge plus. The backup camera starts automatically when you shift into reverse (which powers the camera electrical loop if you splice it into one of the brake lights) Controls: The touchscreen is OK, and having both physical buttons and the volume knob gives you the best of both worlds. The built-in EQ lets you fine-tune the sound, and I was pleasantly surprised by the audio quality. My speakers seemed louder and more crisp, so it seems like more power is being sent to them. Appearance: The stereo has a clean, modern look that fits nicely in the dash. It doesn't look cheap or out of place, and the screen gives the interior a nice updated feel. One thing that really impressed me was the customer support. I contacted them about enabling a custom boot logo, and they responded quickly with clear instructions. They provided an updated firmware, and after the update I was able to set my own custom boot logo without any issues. It's nice to see a company that's responsive and willing to help beyond the initial installation. Overall, this has been an execllent upgrade that really revives an old dashboard. ... show more

  • This damn thing
Style: Volume knob + 4 physical buttons
Works fine all wiring same cor code but a few issues with one being critical. First the load time on the screen is long. When you start your vehicle even with auto-connect on it takes about 40 sec to connect sometimes longer. Another big issue for me was that even though it has an equalizer or has absolutely no controls for a subwoofer. So if you have a subwoofer or plan on getting one dont get this. And last and most importantly, this radio does not fit in jk wrangler! It says they're compatible but there not. The radio is slightly bigger than the frame in the center console, so I jad.to actually use a small saw to take.off about a 1/4 in. Of the material up top so.it would fit. Then down bottom i had to take.some off as well because it wouldn't fit in around the.vents. idk how it is in other vehicles but my recommendation would be to not get this product. ... show more
