The media could not be loaded. Picked up this gun safe as a gift for my buddy, but couldn't resist putting it together myself first. Assembly was straightforward, though definitely easier with an extra pair of hands. The safe's pretty roomy - looks like it'll fit my friend's rifle collection nicely, even the ones with scopes. That adjustable shelf's a nice touch for organizing smaller items. The digital keypad seems user-friendly, should save him from key-fumbling in the dark. Built-in light's clever, makes it easy to see what's inside. The build feels solid, gave me confidence in its security. But it's not all perfect. The keypad took some fiddling to program, might take him a bit to get used to. While it claims to hold 8 rifles, I'd say 6 is more realistic for easy access. That alarm's no joke - loud enough to wake the neighbors if you mess up the code. Mounting it was a bit of a workout, definitely not a one-person job. The silent mode's cool, but I can see how you might forget it's on and get locked out. Overall, seems like a decent safe for the price. Should do the job of keeping his firearms secure, but probably not for the ultra-paranoid. Excited to give it to him, just hope he doesn't mind that I "test drove" it first!

The construction was not very complicated, even though the instructions were very inadequate. Parts should be marked left, right, top, bottom, etc. How hard can that be to do? Everything fit together as expected. The screwdriver provided was too small and would result in stripping screws, if used. The instructions for the rubber stock to the bracket was missing, but was figured out. The last thing I’ll say is there is no reset per the instructions for programming the pin. It is marked Settings button and located inside the door. Other than these annoyances, it is not a bad purchase.

The media could not be loaded. I was able to lock a variety of firearms, including rifles and pistols, with the help of this equipment, and the interior design is impressive. Through the use of the flexible shelf, I was able to personalize the area to accommodate the many kinds and sizes of weapons that I had. My firearms are carefully cradled and shielded from any potential scratches or damage thanks to the cushioning that is placed on the shelves and walls. One of the most notable features, in my opinion, is the digital keypad's ability to enable instant access. It is possible to enter the building quickly and safely thanks to the responsive keypad, and the door opens smoothly and without any lag. The speed of access is of the utmost importance in times of emergency, and this gun safe is exceptional in that it allows for speedy entrance while still keeping its level of protection. The fact that this gun safe is fireproof is something that I believe provides an additional sense of confidence. The knowledge that my guns are safeguarded from harm caused by fire provides me with a sense of calm. Because of its fire-resistant materials and heavy-duty design, this safe gives me the assurance that it can endure unforeseen circumstances. It provides me with more than simply a storage solution; it is a genuine protection for my expensive guns.

This item has several problems. First of all there is zero fireproofing on the back and sides of this "safe", which is really a locking file cabinet. Even with that considered, the electric lock drains the batteries after 2 days, making it completely useless. This item is a scam and a fraud. You really get to see this when you have to assemble it, with limited instructions, and parts with no description for. DONT BUY

The packaging protected the parts. Not all parts are labeled. Instructions are a little vague, regarding which bolts and nuts go where, I had to guess. Took me about 30 min to put together. Most difficult part are the small bolts that go in the corners. My advice make sure the head of the bolt is facing you/ visible. The door is heavy, however this cabinet can be pryed open with some effort. This is not a safe. It's a cabinet that simply provides a limited barrier of protection. Overall, I'm not disappointed.

The gun safe was very easy to assemble. This is a steel cabinet that is just steel with no fireproofing but that is what I wanted. The safe seems very secure. If you want to break into it you better bring a sawzall or sledge hammer.

This unit is robust and well-constructed, fitting together seamlessly. While the assembly instructions could be improved, individuals with mechanical knowledge should manage to decipher them. Surprisingly, the fingerprint reader exceeded my expectations, granting me quick and effortless access to the safe. It's important to note that despite its name, this safe is not the impenetrable 10-ton bomb-proof type. Given the right tools and sufficient time, a determined thief could potentially breach it, although not without some effort. Its primary function seems to be keeping children and prying guests at bay, which fulfills my requirements perfectly. Overall, a wise investment.
