First, this is NOT a gun safe, it's a relatively heavy duty cabinet with a really good door lock system compared to others. The distance between the bottom of the cabinet and the shelf/floor of the top box isn't quite tall enough to store rifles or shotguns with non-standard accessories. The two Axis bolt guns we have are too long with the recoil pads and muzzle brakes installed. Shotguns with 28" barrel also won't fit unless they are angled in the cabinet. Carbine length rifles fit fine, however. Wasn't especially difficult to assemble, but would advise that you honestly assess you ability to do such a thing. Instructions aren't particularly clear, and the process requires some thought. Holes lined up well and the unit is solid when completed. The shelf/floor of the top cabinet sits on brackets so you will need to figure out a method to secure it if that is a priority for you. I used a couple of angled brackets to keep it in place. Good tools are a must. Power driver for the screws and correctly sized wrenches/sockets. An assistant is also a good idea. This is far easier to get upstairs than a true gun safe of similar size. Tips the scales at less than 100 lbs, with most of that weight being in the door/frame assembly. The door and frame come assembled which is very helpful. There are some pockets on the inside of the door, but no padding. Also a smallish light which comes on when the door opens, but it's not of a great deal of use. Overall, it is a good value in my book if you understand the limitations of the cabinet. Not a fireproof safe, but seems to be more secure than the keyed metal cabinets out there.

This safe definitely won't win and durability awards, but it doesn't need to, it's more than enough to keep out anyone that's not specifically gunning for it and its good if you even have kids. I really like the look of it and it's got a good storage capacity. I probably spent about an hour setting it up, that was quite fun in my opinion and the instructions are clear, so it makes it easy to do Aswell. i do recommend you are in a larger open space then like trying to set it up in a 5x3 cube because i was struggling. but this is a safe people should get if they're not as much worried about breaking in as to opposed warding people off visually. it's very sturdy for its price to

It's pretty good for the price. As other reviews have said, this isn't really a safe. It's a gun cabinet with a safe-style lock on it. That said, all of the pieces fit well for me and it seems sturdy. With the right tools you could break into it easily enough but it would take a pretty concerted effort, especially if it is properly secured to the wall. It's not long enough to fit long rifles, but my 20" AR 15 fits just fine with a few inches to spare. The assembly wasn't too bad, but the instructions weren't great. I was able to piece it all together well enough though. The pw reset stumped me for a few and I needed to watch a YouTube video. Turns out you just push the reset button, not hold it until it beeps. Otherwise I'm pretty happy with it for the price point. Don't expect a proper fire proof safe though.

First photo is how the unassembled safe came. This is really easy to build. I do wish that I had a second person to hold the door as I was building, but mostly can do it by yourself. The instructions were simple, but maybe too simple. Luckily there is a YouTube video on how to build that helps a ton! Super stoked to add this to my garage set up. Very affordable and sturdy! Not a heavy gun safe, which I hate having when I have to move. Just make sure it is bolted down and you will be safe and secure! Already recommended to 2 friends

Absolute crap!!!!!!!!! cheap thin metal, NOT A SINGLE HOLE LINES UP - crap 1/8 sheet metal screws - we tried for over 2 hours to get to align up, drilled our own holes only to find the front door bold do not line up properly no matter what bending and pushing we did - CHEAP CINESE CRAP THAT SHOULD NOT BE SOLD!!!!!!!!! yes u get what u pay for - however when its so bad that u cannot assemble - it crap!!! And the instructions are not possible to use as not a single item is labeled and the diagrams are childish and dont match the parts - its also impossible to return as the box has to be taken apart and its packed by a bunch of tiny people - hence calling my credit card company to fight this crap - AMAZON SHULD PULL THIS PRODUCT

Took a little bit of time to assemble, but it's sturdy, and it fits great. The widely accepted rule of thumb on gun safes is you can comfortably fit half of whatever is listed and I think I could easily fit 6 or 7 rifles into this thing no problem. 10 to 14, no way. But I have zero complaints about this and expected this sort of a storage capacity.

Very cheap .the bottom of the safe dose not screw or bolt in easily push in if safe in on its side two people can care it out the door fully loaded .thin metal. Just don't buy it .when called to ship it back was told I paid shipping at 90 dollars .then a 125 restocking fee .so I would not get back what I paid for it .and it done fit 12 guns bearly fits 7 and if you have any long guns they will not fit two of my shotguns don't fit unless I take out the shelf. Not a good Deal or a good safe
