The unit arrived well-packed without damage. The lighter weight of roughly 165 pounds makes it easy to manage with a dolly. Assembly is simple: unpack the racks and select the appropriate height for your long guns. install the racks on the door for pistols. install a single small shelf. choose a code and enter per instructions, then set up the RFID tag. Done! The unit certainly provides security from a snatch and grab type of burglar. However, it is NOT a thick, fire-walled safe. It is NOT immune from aggressive levers nor torches.     • It’s not a safe it’s barely a lockbox
The walls are very thin. This does not protect against water or fire damage. It is merely a tin can to lock your firearms in.

    • It is what it says it is.
It’s a lightweight safe that is perfect for the bedroom to keep kids out. It will even notify you on your cell phone when it’s locked or unlocked. I wish it had a tip/tilt notification if someone was trying to run off with it. It won’t fit a serious collection, but it’s handy for quick access. I’ve found the RFID access in the Hornady safes to be practically useless, the tag has to be touching the sensor just right. It’s faster for me to just enter the code. The RFID could be used as a backup I suppose, as well as the physical key. ... show more
