This cabinet provides more than enough room to store my guns and ammo. The size and color blend in nicely with my light color walls so that it doesn’t stick out like a sore thumb. The construction materials seem to be of good quality and should provide more than enough security for my needs. The electronic keypad to unlock it is cool but I like that it also has a manual key override if you ever had a problem opening it. I did not even realize that it had some LED lighting when you open the door so that is a very handy feature as well. The separate top compartment has its own lock and can be used for ammo or other valuables. Overall it’s a nice looking and very functional cabinet. Very happy with this purchase!

I’m really impressed with the Kaer 10-14 Gun Safe! It offers plenty of room for my rifles, shotguns, and pistols, with adjustable shelves that make organizing everything easy. The digital keypad is responsive and gives quick access, and there's also a backup key just in case. The LED light inside is a great touch—makes it super easy to see everything, even at night. Although it comes unassembled, the instructions were clear and assembly was straightforward. The safe is solid, heavy-duty, and feels very secure once in place. This is an excellent option for anyone looking for an affordable, spacious, and reliable gun safe. Highly recommend for both seasoned collectors and new gun owners! A while back I bought two of these safes to hold my rifles when I moved into an apartment and wanted to keep them secure while I was away for work. I ordered two because I thought the listed storage capacity was optimistic. This much is true. You might be able to fit 8 to 12 bolt-action rifles or .22s in this unit, but if you're looking to store anything more substantial, the limit will be between 4 and 5. The safe comes with foam inserts to hold the barrels of long guns, and they mount to the inside with a sort of square "pegboard" system. As far as assembly, the safe comes with the walls and door, as well as the floor, internal shelf, and top, all in separate pieces. The door is pretty sturdy, with bank-vault style bolts locking into the doorframe. Assembly is doable alone, but I recommend getting a buddy to help. Fitment was good enough that I didn't feel like I was struggling, and other than nearly dropping the door on myself during assembly, everything went smoothly. For both units, the process took about an hour from start to finish. There was some frustration, particularly as the first unit came together, because all of the assembly points are located on the inside; this is good for security, but makes initial assembly somewhat troublesome. Normally, sturdiness would be a concern, but at this price point it's obvious you're getting more of a sturdy locker than a true safe. The bolts that hold it together are all on the inside, so as long as the safe is locked, I think it would be a sufficient deterrent to anyone trying to take your stuff. Once you have some guns inside, the unit becomes heavy enough that you couldn't safely move it, so that's another point for theft deterrence. It has a keypad lock, and an actual keyed lock as a backup. Personally, I just use the keys supplied with the safe and don't even bother with the keypad since I'm the only one that will be accessing the safe's contents. There's another chamber that takes up the top section of the safe, accessible only with a key, meant for pistols and other related accessories. It's less sturdy than the main door, but still stout enough for my liking. The only downside with this upper storage box is that it limits the internal volume of the main safe, and consequentially limits the length of long guns that can be stored. This is only a problem if you have anything long like a hunting shotgun or an old military bolt-action rifle you want to store. Overall, this safe is a good option if you don't have either the money or the space for a full-size gun safe. It's sturdy enough that I expect any potential burglar would just try to find something less cumbersome to burgle. It's light and small enough to fit in an apartment or smaller home, and very appealing if you're balling on a budget. It is sufficient for keeping your guns safely away from anyone who doesn't need to get their hands on them. Just be aware that you are getting what you pay for. If you have a larger collection or are planning to, I would recommend saving up to get a larger, sturdier safe from a well-known manufacturer.

Overall 👍 all the best to you way on this gun cabinet! I was so impressed by all the extras included like upper and lower supports, peg wall on 3 sides towards the top to adjust hooks & supports and the look is spot on! The electronic keypad is great - super responsive and keys + charging port if it goes dead. The separate locking storage space on top is another game changer for this gun cabinet! I’m letting our 19 year old keep some important things in there bc we don’t want him having access to our safes. Assembly wasn’t terrible, but as a word of caution: there are panels stuck in between the doors that are stuck together, so I had panels come crashing down on my foot. For us, it was a 2 person assembly and we did it on an 8 foot plastic table for our own ease. The tricky part was holding the door open to wiggle into tight spots to add /tighten other screws. Overall minimal swear words uttered. I was more and more excited as the build continued and wanted to rush it inside the moment it was done, but it was too late. ***I almost forgot: we needed to make 1 extremely minor adjustment: If you look at the pics I circled one in blue. There was a gap btwn the foam support and bracket. We removed the foam, slightly bent the bracket, reattached and problem solved - that easy. It looks great, helps with safety & security plus organization of hunting & shooting supplies, etc. My fiancé is considering a second one, but I think this is sufficient. We’ll see on that, but overall this item is absolutely worth the $$!!!!

I bought the Kaer 10-14 Gun Safe to organize my rifles, shotguns, and a few pistols, and it’s been a solid choice for basic home storage. Assembly took a little time but wasn’t hard, and once it’s set up, the safe feels sturdy enough for everyday use. The digital keypad works well, and I like the adjustable shelves and built-in LED light — they make it easy to customize and see everything inside. It’s not a heavy-duty, fireproof safe, but for keeping firearms secure and out of reach, it does the job without costing a fortune.
