The gun cabinet on the left is complete and does not require assembly, but the locker on the right requires installation. Tip:When the storage cabinet is attached to the gun safe, the screws need to go through the protective pads inside the gun safe. Are the shelves inside the storage cabinet adjustable? All shelves are adjustable or removable inside the storage cabinet, and the shelf in the gun safe is also adjustable. Does the product need to be fixed to the wall? To be happy with this safe, you must have the right expectations. I was looking for a safe that is durable, secure, but also practical for me to be able to move to my second floor. I didn’t need this safe to be a full blown fire proof safe as I already have that. Reading some of these reviews, I think people were hoping to get something like that when it’s not. Needless to say, I am very happy with this safe. It was heavier than I thought it would be but in a good way. The metal panels are at least 18 gauge.     • What I wanted but a lot longer to assemble than it should have
The 4 stars are based on the safes after assembly. It is what I was looking for. Assembly hate will be later in review. We just wanted security as far as keeping all of our equipment in one spot and out of the way. 2 side by side safes with plenty of storage for all shapes and sizes. They are lightweight, when empty, but suits our needs. Assembly was not fun. Looking back on it, it should have been done in half the time it took me. Nothing difficult about putting it together. Grab a drill and insert many, many tiny screws to put outer frame and shelves together. Have a flashlight handy because it can be hard to find the holes on black metal with black screws. The challenge of assembly is that the pieces aren’t marked with letters. I had to guess which piece went with each cabinet. What was a shelf, what was top, bottom etc. it could have been much simpler also the assembly instructions were not clear. It was very frustrating. Again, it would’ve have been simple assembly if the pieces were marked and the instructions were clear. The safe is what I wanted and worth the price. However the frustration of assembly would probably prevent me from purchasing again. ... show more

Product not the easiest to assemble due to tight fit screws and minimal space. Right Cabinet doesn’t lock unless I forcefully push on the door and then unlocking it is hard. Unit came with some stain on it and the holes for the cabinet to be assembled was covered by felt I pulled up the felt to access holes and now felt won’t go back flush. There’s no way to mount the rifle holder so the guns weight slides the unit down making it useless. Top handgun holder can’t be used if top shelf is used. Lock handle on left gun safe travels wobbles and doesn’t seem stable. Altogether unit looks nice but is halfway functional ... show more

The little light that's battery powered is motion activated and does work perfectly but it's super dim like get out your candle to see the bottom half of the cabinet dim. Honestly it's good enough that I'm just going to use it but yeah maybe get something else as well. The tippy top shelf of the main gun cabinet doesn't have to be put in so you can fit some long long guns in it still (thankfully😅) The one thing I don't like is if you have any kind of optic the foam rests won't stick out far enough. I'm sure you could craft something to fix it pretty easily but most people probably can't, you can put it in sideways but then your taking up 3 spaces. Was able to fit 5 long guns a katana and even a compound bow! (It's a bit cramped but could fit more long guns probably) It took about 30-45 minutes to set up each unit with an electric screwdriver (impact) it's way sturdier than a gun cabinet needs to be but don't expect it to compare to an actual safe. It still offers good security from people who don't have the resources/knowledge to get in but if such a person does come along it'll be open within minutes. (Angle grinder would zip right in) And for the price you just can't get this kinda security for this much volume. So I would definitely buy again if I went back in time. Last thing I don't like is that the small lockable drawer is on the bottom. So inconvenient. Should have been at the top I think but then again I am a bit taller. Not really that big of a deal but yeah. There really wherent any big problems with it at all. Good! ... show more

Cabinet was inside the already assembled safe. That was a plus. Packaged very good. I knew it would be smaller but not that small. A little disappointed but it serves its purpose for smaller gun storage and in my home office. The side cabinet is a plus for other items. The assembly took way longer than it needed too primarily because the instructions aren’t exact,or right, and leaves you guessing. It took forever to figure out that you have to pull back the fabric inside the gun safe on the side where cabinet attaches in order to connect the top screws. Instructions do not indicate that at all. Lot of improvising or figuring out because of this. Better or updated instructions are definitely needed for what should be a quick and easy install considering the small amount of parts and hardware. Overall, it’s a quick and cheap buy for a temporary fix if you have valuables to secure. This won’t keep anyone with the right tools from getting in. I bought this gun safe with a side cabinet for my basement to store cleaning tools, accessories, and a few long guns. It turned out bigger than expected—in a good way—so I’m temporarily laying it flat on a rack until I make room to stand it up. The main compartment is very spacious. I’ve stored three long guns with slings, and there’s still plenty of room. Setting the passcode was easy, and the door feels solid and secure. It’s heavy, well-built, and has a quality finish with no odd smells. The side cabinet is simple but very practical for organizing accessories like maintenance kits, scopes, and ammo. Caution, if you have long guns. The one in the picture is an a 300 with a 30 inch barrel. Leaving out the top shelf it just makes it. The measurements on the listing were accurate. You could potentially store a longer gun if you left out the top of the drawer, that would, of course make the drawer useless. The storage site is big enough to put in cases of shelves in with the long dimension going front to back. The instructions are horrible. In addition, it is put together with sheet metal screws. Some people have commented that it is more like a gym locker than a safe. I agree with that assessment. You could potentially prior apart with a good crowbar and hammer. That being said, I don’t expect the children to be that aggressive. As others commented there are three separate keys. It would be nice if one key did all three locks (the drawer the gun cabinet under the storage cabinet. It took me about one hour for each side. They actually arrived in two boxes onto two different days. I was able to put them both together myself, but did require a second set of hands to bolt the two units together. There are four bolts provided for that, but it is impossible to reach around the open door from one to the other to place the bolts in the rear of the unit. They do provide a screwdriver, but it would be a painful process to put all the sheet metal screws in by hand. I would recommend a driver ward drill with a Phillips bit. ... show more
