Practicing self defense is made easy with this Free Standing Punching Bag. If you don't have the space or money to invest in a home gym, this is the next best option. This punching bag is 68" after inflation, and the base will be 180lbs filled with water or 200lbs if filled with sand. Setting this punching bag up is easy if you have everything you need. Only one piece is included in the box, and 4 small patches for leaks. Other than that, you are on your own after ordering this item. The air pump is NOT included in the box. A water pump/hose/siphon/funnel or anything else you need must be purchased separately. The hardest part was figuring out how to fill and empty the base. This punching bag will be heavy after the base is filled so it needs to be in a permanent spot before you began pouring water or sand. I used a funnel a d started pour pitchers of water in. That became messy and I got impatient. Do I decided to use a clear pvc hose to siphon the water from the sink to fill the base. I felt smart doing that. I used the same method to empty the water from the base. Only problem is that its so close to the floor. It was difficult trying to create the water flow from the base, but I made it work. If you have a good plan for setting up this punching bag, and a smart plan for reversing the process, and your sure that your ready to use this big boy, then try it, buy it, and let us know how you feel about it.

I tried filling this with water outside. Follow the instructions! I didn't notice any leaking. I left it outside for a couple days before taking it down; I'm planning on getting sand for it because I don't know that I want to risk the water deciding to leak out someday. Quality is good though, the only thing I'm not happy with is the base: it looks a lot rounder, more like a donut and not as wide as expected. It stays up ok though, just maybe swivels more than otherwise.
