The DocketPORT 687 scans media at up to 600 dpi and its compact footprint fits in any office workstation. It can scan both sides of ID cards, driver's licenses, and embossed cards in one pass. It also handles photos and turns receipts into PDF files. This DocketPORT 6870scanner is USB powered so it will run off a desktop or laptop computer. Included software makes it easy to scan images into PDF, JPEG and TIFF files formats.

    • Your copy machine does the same job.
It claims to include software, it just means the driver. It will not populate the scanned image on a document. It also does not have a size profile for a standard ID, so you get a scanned image the size of a mailing envelope. It will scan your ID, but it was not useful to our purposes.

Bought a used one but I downloaded software and ran calibration sheet. I had it working in less than 45 min scans great. Image is clear and in color does both side of card at same time. Love it.

received software for scanner without license key and now it has taken weeks to ship back everything to get a new scanner just because they never enclosed the license key for the software...cant comment on scanner because i am still waiting to actually use it
