I love this scanner! I don’t really get the negative reviews. For the price and the functionality you get, it’s amazing. I’m the type of person who does tons of research before I buy most anything. This includes scanners like this. I was fairly hesitant due to some negative reviews, but I decided to take a chance because I really loved how small, compact and minimalistic this was. I am so happy with my purchase. I have a Mac and setup was a breeze. The minimalist design and the tiny footprint is exactly what I was looking for You don’t have to pay for any additional software for it to function (but I do think you have to download their app, which is free… I don’t know if this is an absolute requirement to use the scanner, but I installed their app because it comes with great feature that make it extremely easy to manage scans and save them. I actually love the features that it provides at no cost so I would recommend downloading it… again, it’s FREE) It just does what it’s supposed to do. One thing to notice is that due to its minimal size if you’re a bit of a perfectionist OCD person like myself you have to be a little more careful about how you load each page to ensure the scans are fed evenly. I assume this is an issue with any scanner but even moreso with something that’s as compact as this and doesn’t have the guides to ensure precise feeding. If you’re looking for a compact scanner, that is efficient, effective and easy to use, I would absolutely recommend this. ... show more

Disappointed when I opened the Amazon box. It was clear the from the scanner packaging that it was used. Also when I opened the scanner box the scanner itself is all scratched up and loose, no plastic covering etc. - another clear indication that it was used. I was charged full price. This scanner is 10.5x1.0x1.5 and it does exactly what it says it does. Most of my scanning is legal size, so this is the best scanner for me. I already have an Epson4800 printer that is under 2 years old and the rollers went bad and crumpled and the placed a blick line down the center that no amount of cleaning could fix. I needed a self feed scanner. This was the best bet. Very simple to install to a USB port and has an on button and a scan button. When your in the software choose ADP (for feed scan) and check the add/save box for multiple scans to one document file (of your choice), when done then click save. You can save to many file extensions like pdf or jpeg. I even installed a little shelf on the wall to hold it when not in use. The rollers are of good quality, just wait to feed a second sheet until the first drops all the out. Also Totally portable. This is one of the better Epson products. ... show more

super buggy and I thought it was the 1.st one I bought that I did really like but turns out this is very glitchy scanner as the best thing about it was how small it was and portable but it stops working mid scan - restarting it - unpluggin it helps but only for so long - actually trying to return it but seems like too much time has passed - was fab when it worked but its beyond not dependable so this is a no - ... show more

I read the other reviews and decided to give it a shot myself, and I'm very thankful I did, it is very convenient to use and to carry around in laptop bag, it scans pretty fast and works well with scanning sports cards into computer for grading. Great compact mobile scanner - it’s meant for letter sized paper, it only has so many rollers to pull, so if you don’t line them up for receipts, etc. it won’t work, but you can do numerous receipts if lined properly (easier sideways IMO). It only feeds one sheet at a time, but it’s quick, and the software was extremely easy to install/use. For being as tiny and quiet as it is, I say it’s a perfect companion if you’re on the move, or limited space. USB connection makes it compatible with about anything, and no batteries or cords to worry about. Highly recommended needless to say ... show more
