OK, I've only had this thing for one day but let me tell you what it did. We have a small pool. Only a 10' round above ground pool. I got this because I was hoping it might even heat the water enough in December to make it swimmable. We're in the Southern California desert so days are typically mild with much cooler evenings in the winter. This week the daytime highs are high 60s/low 70s, but down into the low 40s at night. This thing took me about 20-30 minutes to set up once i acquired the right connectors for my hoses. The water temp was 55 when I hooked it up, and the ambient temp was about 68. That was about 11:00 am. I set it for 84 degrees and let it run all day and through the night. This morning at 6:30 the ambient temp was 45 and the pool water was 82. I'm sure that in combo with the solar blanket it will get up to a nice 88-90 by this afternoon so my wife and granddaughter can get in it. My wife uses the pool for low impact exercise and it has been too cold to stay in for her 1-2 hour swims since maybe the end of August. So far, it looks like it might make it possible for her to go in for most of the year. I'lll probably update this after a month or so but I'm more than impressed after the first day

This heater raised our 3800 gal pool from 74 to 84 degrees F. The temp of the pool doesn’t stay high when the air is cooler (like the 70’s) but that makes sense. We do use a solar cover all the time but our pool does not get full sun. The unit does shed a lot of water with condensation, and at one point water was leaking pretty heavily out of the bottom of the heater (somewhere) but it stopped on its own. It was easy to set up and use, seems to be good quality, and functions well (for the last 2 weeks anyway.) The price seemed high to me at first but we couldn’t even enjoy the pool before we got the heater, so I’d say it’s worth it.

Heater setup was easy and it heated up our 14’ pool about 10 degrees in just a few days. Seller responded to my questions quickly and were proactive to ensure everything was working well afterwards.

Did not output advertised BTUs. Closest day we had to their spec which is the standard 80/80/80, it was 79F outside, 77% humidity, and pool started at 74F in the morning and by late day was 78F with solar cover on. Given the flow rate across the heater output and the temperature differential, with the display reading about 14 amps and max drive output on the VFD... I rough math'd it and ChatGPT confirmed that it was only putting out about 39k BTUs. Not remotely close to advertised output. The next day I calculated it at about 36k BTUs. Overnight when the ambient air dropped to upper 60s, it barely held the temp in the pool. 14x26 in ground with a 16mil solar bubble cover on it. Manual was garbage. Menus are not intuitive. No access to the settings menus either.

This heater is really solid, certainly appears well made. It was very easy to intergrate into our pool system and the panel is easy to use. I didn’t mess with the wifi app as we’re at the end of this season so I’ll dive into that in the Spring. I will update this review after I’ve had a chance to use it for a longer period of time.

I received the product, but unfortunately it arrived damaged during shipping and was bent on one side. However, the customer support team was excellent. After a few calls and emails, they fully refunded me and arranged for the unit to be picked up from my home. Because I didn’t have time to wait for the exchange process — the installation team had very limited availability — I decided to place a second order myself. In the end everything worked out, and my heater is now installed. I’ve only been able to test it for a couple of weeks, but it has already helped a lot, allowing my children to use the pool during this time of year. It hasn’t yet reached the maximum advertised temperature, but I’m still monitoring how it performs under different weather conditions. Overall, I would definitely recommend this product, especially because having reliable customer service is very important to me.

This seems to only want to work effectively on warm days. I don't have a large pool, but if it is under 80 degrees outside, the heater can only hold the temp steady, but is not able to increase the temp at all. Pretty underwhelming overall. Missed the return window by five days.
