I'm surprised at how great this TV is. It's early days, but the picture is excellent. As a gamer, I notice less color banding, screen tearing and ghosting. There are enough settings to dial in your games and run them at 144hz with v sync and they look great. It's backed by Google TV, so your apps and things sync nicely, and the UI isn't hot garbage like other TVs that have so much bloat it makes using your TV a pain. *cough* LG *cough* Now, the price... I bought it on a black Friday deal for $370. I don't think I'd pay the full retail price. At full retail, you could move into a base line OLED. OLED has it's share of problems, but it's something to think about... TLDR: Great TV. Google integration makes it easy to navigate the UI. Amazing tv. We just received it and it is the same quality of picture as a much more expensive name brand tv. Amazon also made it right after we received the wrong item initially. I game and it shows colors I couldn’t see previously as well as details of the game. It is so easy to use and set up. So my tv arrived 3 hrs ago. I ordered a 65" and it arrived in perfect condition. The picture is amazing and the sound is so much better than my old TCL. I paid around $600 for mine but I must say its well worth that price.

One of the best high end gaming TVs at a competitive price point. This TV is a TCLG5 and is actually better than the TCLQM6K in everything. It has more mini led zones, better brightness and contrast, like literally a TCLQM7k without the HVA Panel. It even has the same processor as the QM7k as well giving this TV one of the best price to performance ratio. Wow, what a great budget Mini-LED 4K TV, I just got it delivered and set it up and the picture quality is just awesome, colors pop thanks to the QLED 10bit MVA Panel. The Mini-led's, brightness is perfect for me at peak 1,000 nits, since I mostly watch movies at night so did not need at 3,000 nits more expensive TV. I use filmmaker mode, turn off the auto brigh While it was a risk going with a subsidiary of TCL, IFFALCON, the U85 is the best TV they sell. The panel is made by TCL, so you know the quality is good Your getting a 85 inch Mini-LED 4K TV with all of the Dolby Vision, HDR, 144hz, etc., it was well worth it. I highly recommend this 85 inch TV if you can get it at below 1,000.00 dollars. Positives: 1. Picture Quality and Colors 2. 120-144hz native refresh response rate 3. Its a TCL Panel and Processing 4. Price 5. This is the same TCL QM6K model and specs, however this has the better glossy screen, the QM6K has a dull Matte Screen. Negatives: 1. Viewing Angles are not great and is typical of any TCL VA Panel 2. You will need a huge TV Stand if you are not hanging it since the legs are at the screen edges ... show more

At first open I was really excited about this TV. I loved the picture and the game mode picked up connecting my switch 2. It was so cool seeing the gaming mode features. I have purchased multiple TCL TVs and was glad to hear that IFFalcon is part of that family. Ive never had any issues with TCL. I got to see the TV for one day and everything was great but then i noticed some odd things happening. I was watching netflix and all of a sudden the TV just went to a white static screen. It was like the TV was locked up an no response would work with any remote button or manual TV button. Thought maybe it was just a little glitch but the Remote wouldnt respond and its was like the TV was just stuck at a solid white screen. Couldnt get any response from the TV and troubleshooting articles suggested to restart/power cycle. Got the TV working again after unplugging but after a few hours I got a white screen again. After power cycling again the TV just now doesnt respond at all. No power, indicator lights. I got maybe 5 total hours of watching TV and now its like its bricked. Bummed about the TV for one but then the support was miserable. I called IFFalcon support and no one would answer. They dont have 24 hour support and lines cut off at 7:00 est. With work this made it difficult to get in touch. After calling multiple times if you let it ring long enough you can leave a voicemail which seems really odd. But I left a voicemail and have yet to hear back. Then I tried amazon support It took 3 attempts with amazon just to set up a return. They wont offer a replacement but I had to just return the item for money back. After 3 attempts with chat finally called on the phone and got a return set up. Overall just exhausting and this experience all together has been tedious. A lot of reviews mention good experiences but that was not the case for me. I will likely not purchase a IFFalcon product in future. ... show more
